Does Fishface feel redundant now?

I'm sure they could use Fishface for something more but given the show's rather annoying tendency thoughtlessly introduce new characters and drop focus what's already there, I doubt Fishface will have much of a chance to shine, especially considering that five other henchmen are serving Shredder.

Sadly, it seems like they would rather make an episode about a mutant shoe than focus on Fishface (or multiple other characters for that matter).

But if Fishface goes rogue, then he could still have potential as a good villain. They're only nerfing him now because Bebop and Rocksteady are there, and something tells me Xever isn't going to like any of this and is going to leave the Foot on his own.

I would love for him to be demutated mainly because his fighting style feels a bit clunky like he was against Bebop.

Still, I'm glad that Fishface is still at least Rahzar's equal.

I like Fish Face, for reasons unknown, but I can see how he's becoming redundant now as a villain. I wish to see more of him even if he does happen to turn back to a human, or double mutate as some y'all been discussing before. I'll just have to trust that the writers know what they're doing.

Nothing another dose of mutagen can't fix! Seriously, though, I hope they do something with him soon. Such a shame for characters to get tossed to the background.

Not really, he and Raph have a issues with each other, they should develop this in to more of a thing.

Not really. Not any less redundant than anyone else on Shredder's team. I mean, sure he didn't get a new form or whatever, or isn't new like Tiger Claw, but whatever. It took forever for him to get his robot legs to kick ass and even longer for him to finally whip out the giant sized knives. Who says Shredder needs to get new henchmen every now and then? If anything he can just be the longest mainstay character that doesn't get re-mutated or whatever like Rahzar, Baxter and Karai.

Maybe de-mutate him, or have him side with Bebop and Rocksteady. Hell, those two have no reason to work with Shredder. They should turn on him the first chance they get.

I think Shredder's mutant squad is pretty much overcrowded at the moment. Or at least writers don't know how to / don't want to give everyone equal amount of time.

I am not really sure how Bebop and Rocksteady will stand on their own if story continue to focus mainly on Shredder and Tiger Claw. Even Dogpound / Rahzar and Fishface are demoted pretty much to "those two secondary guys" and in the begining they gave impression of being pretty important in the Foot Clan food chain. Now with Bebop and Rocksteady around, they could maximum for Baxter-size cameo.

Would be interesting to see them side with the Turtles. Steranko's previous loyalty to Shredder was likely only for his own benefit anyway, seeing as he had Zeck try to steal his helmet.

They might. In the mean time, they still don't have any way of getting out of the city as well as the fact that the Turtles foiled Steranko's deal in Season 1, prevented Zeck from stealing the Kabuto, and intercepted their deal which prevented them from getting out of the city, so that could be motivation to help out Shredder just to defeat the Turtles. There's also the fact that Baxter Stockman's a genius which means he can upgrade Bebop's suit and Steranko's weaponry.

If all else fails, Shredder will just fend them off and prevent them from getting out of the Foot.

Plus, thanks to the mutation, they are now completely reliant on Shredder for food, shelter, and such since they can't get out of the city and living in hiding is what drove them to capture Karai to use as a bargaining chip since they were starving to death.

Aside from the flashback, the closest he has come killing someone is mutating Stockman.

That's mainly because Stockman had technical expertise that make him far more valuable alive then dead, plus mutation likely would break his spirit so he wouldn't rebel. Anton and Steranko don't have that, plus the mutation just pisses them off more then anything. So Shredder has to resort to death threats to make them work for him, because they won't listen to anything less then that.

Would he be able to kill them though? It's kind of funny, he's still the leader but when you think about he's probably the least powerful member or the Foot Clan. The most skilled maybe, but probably not powerful.

I don't think Zeck and Steranko will turn on Shredder because they'll have the fear of getting killed. But I do think that Xever will more than likely turn on him and leave the Foot, and that would be great for him.

I still strongly believe that somehow Xever, while he was human, met Tiger Claw and *snicker* XEVERED his tail. Then he mutated so Tiger Claw doesn't recognize him, and that's why Xever kiss-ups to him on Wormquake.

As for "Is He Redundant?", meh. It's either double mutate, retromutate, or bad guy gone good.

Good idea on connecting Xever to Tiger Claw's past. (if Usagi doesn't appear, I'd like this route) What if they were to make Fishface more of a wildcard, an anti-hero in a way?
