Anyone notice the plothole? They seemed to ignore the fact that time moves faster in Dimension X than on Earth, which is why Mikey was "gone for months" when he jumped there first and the Turtles later the first time they went. In this episode the Dimension X and Earth stuff was happening at the same time. Otherwise great episode:

- Slash is back and is good, and nice to see the return of Leatherhead, Pigeon Pete and Rockwell.

- I love that Rockwell can speak now. He's so much more interesting than the bland mute monkey he was in Season 1. Love his psychic powers.

- Everyone on Earth is de-mutated and back to normal including April's Dad.

- Krang Sub-prime is dead...for good?

- Kraang gone to Dimension X

I would have liked to see Spiderbitez, Napoleon and that small talon/bird mutant (forgot his name) join the Mutanimals too, they seemed oddly missing.

I'm happy that the Kraang are gone but really sad that Newtralizer has no purpose now. Kraang are gone, and he wasn't even in this episode! He was so hyped up by commercials, he had potential as a character, and we all know he isn't dead, because he warped away at the end of "Newtralized!".

Newtralizer is a rogue agent, he has nothing to do with the Kraang. We'll obviously see him again eventually.

Just now realized that plothole, LOL! Yes Kraang Sub-Prime is dead, although I loved his voice. Spiderbytez does hate the Kraang but at the same time I don't think he'd co-operate with the team. Napoleon and the Punk Frogs went to Louisiana if I remember correctly, and Sir Malachi, eh maybe. I don't know enough about his character as he doesn't show disdain against the Kraang.

EDIT: In reply to CyberCubed; On that note, maybe his services will be hired by someone.

Whew. Just went through two hours of TMNT. I rewatched "Serpent Hunt" to refresh my memory and then watched "Pig and Rhino" on iTunes (guess I didn't need to set up the DVR after all. I get embarrassed watching that with my parents around), then went to Nick.com.

Man....there's just too much to talk about. Awesome seeing Slash back and finally a good guy again. Sup-Prime is the ONLY Kraang who actually took advantage of the English language. Mikey being savagely awesome.

AAAAAAND, for all you whiners, New York was saved and the Kraang was stopped WITHOUT the help of April. I thought they were going to use her powers, too, but they didn't. Kinda nice to see the mutants take out the Kraang, though I am worried the EPF are going to show and try to hunt the Turtles and Mut-animals.

Now....let's talk about this little tidbit, shall we?

.....headcannon. This is either going to be Mona Lisa OR this is Mona Lisa's MOTHER. Allow me to explain: This woman (for confusion sake, let's call her "Mona") was the missing scientist that Kurtzman was sent to investigate. She was a prisoner of the Kraang, but he saves her while she's still human. Kurtzman uncovers the Kraang plot through her and together, they form a secret team to fight them. They eventually get married and she's pregnant when the Kraang kidnap her again. Mona becomes a lizard lady, but escapes and rejoins Kurtzman. Then she gives birth to Mona Lisa; they knew it wasn't safe for them to stay in New York, so Kurtzman organizes a hidden spot for his family to stay until Mona Lisa is old enough to rejoin her father.

Yeeeeeeah....my brain does that sometimes. Though, I can't help but think that THIS is like the Venus "cameo." The writers knew some people want Mona Lisa to come back, so this is a shoutout to the fans saying "Ok, you wanted a lizard lady. Here she is! Happy? Good, back to the show."

All and all, this was a lot of fun, though once again none of my predictions came true. (Sorry Victory. No pizza/ice cream party yet). It sort of did with Bebop and Rocksteady discovering the retromutagen and capturing Donnie, but not in the way that I was thinking. We're still waiting to find out if Shredder will discover about this now that Karai is in his possession again. Though it might changes since MIKEY is the one who made it. Then again, maybe Donnie will take the fall for him to protect him and.....yeah, my fan part of my brain is going a mile a minute, so I need to stop and rethink some stuff.

The plothole was indeed bizarre.

Perhaps it's because those little triangle portals aren't powerful enough. However using the big daddy portal from TCRI allows you to come and go at the same rate.

And possibly Bishop. He still has a good chance of appearing.

Fantastic episode! LOVED how the Mutanimals were handled and hope they'll be semi-regular support from now on.

Also, on kind of a random note, anyone notice that the voice Tom Kenny used for Rockwell was pretty much the same one he used for Gibson from Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go? Gibson was also a super genius monkey and Ciro worked on both shows. Almost like it was intentional or something.

GOOD
- I loved SubPrime. His rant about New York and the invasion and 'why can't you speak English' (that is a genuinely good point - how long have they been on Earth now?) was epic.
- I thought the Irmabots was a bit of a middle finger to some of the hardcore fanatics who think we should rename the show to The Adventures Of Irma feat. Occasional Banter With The Turtles.
- Little shoutout to Space Heroes. Leo having his mini nerd spasm.
- Nods to Terminator and The Shining.
- Mikey being a Dimension X genius again.
- Mikey and Leatherhead.
- So happy Dr Rockwell was a Mutanimal. The eye-popping is a great touch. And is he really voiced by Tom Kenny? I was trying to find out but all the online streams cut before the credits.
- Good mix of mutants for Mutanimals. There seems to be direct parallels between Team Turtle and Team Mutanimal in terms of members.
- The fact they teleported the Kraang back to Dimension X covering up a possible plot hole of 'we're returning the humans under Kraang rule in Dimension X, back to NYC where they'll be under Kraang rule'.
- Again, the lack of April. It's obviously a budget thing because they've got all the cameos but it's nice they didn't do the superpowers as a story short cut.
- The music during the sequence where the stealth ship got attacked by the new double headed Kraang dragons was just...
- The fog! We've had rain, snow and now we have fog.
- Greg's English professor accent.

BAD
- Return of Kirby.
- Surprised Krang Prime was nowhere to be seen - but understandable with all the other cameos. The invasion is effectively being reversed and the enemy leader nowhere in sight.
- Repetition of previous scripts. This is getting a bit tiresome. "I don't know how but they found me." "Awww Kraang." All we needed was 'snap out of it' and we would've had the full set.
- I thought Kurtzman dying would've been more powerful than Kurtzman seemingly being mortally wounded and then emerging with a mere arm sling at the end.
- The obvious plot hole of the differing time scales between Earth and Dimension X. It was a great idea for the Mikey episode but now they're going to have a constant plot hole looming over any episodes concerning Dimension X.

Things that I loved:
-All the intervention of the mutant animals.
-The fact that Mikey can be a genious.
-Slash
-The battle on Dimension X
-April's dad coming back.

Things that I hate it:
-Sub-Prime in Irma's suit.
-Irma-Bots.
(I know you guys don't like me to talk about this character, but I just loathe what they have dne to Irma! And also it's pointless. Couldn't the Kraang figureout another human model or what?!)

Hm, totally forgot the EPF was not shown or reference in this episode. I do hope that's leading up to Bishop soon.

After all the Kraang might be gone for now but they still haven't defeated Kraang Prime (aka the true Krang), so I don't think we've seen the last of them.

I noticed more things are happening at Dimension X than on earth. The turtles probably took hours travelling around the open space in the blimp to find the humans, fighting the Kraathatrogon and losing the blimp, stealing the Kraang stealth ship, escaping the Dragotroid chase, hijacking the Technodrome etc. While the Mighty Mutanimals opening the portal, fighting the Kraang and lost, to fighting back and re-opening the portal might all be happening within the same hour. It's possible that a temporal difference still exist between the two dimensions.

I don't normally nitpick but the only things that I wondered about was,

Where was Kraang Prime?

When turtles were traveling on that rocket heading into space towards the sun, shouldn't they have trouble breathing.

The true Krang was obviously still plotting while his underlings were being defeated. The fact that we didn't see the true Krang appear in this episodes proves he'll be in it at a later date.

They weren't in space, just the higher atmosphere.

Not that it matters really, but they would've still had trouble breathing. Pilots wear air masks for a reason.
