Complaining about re-used models when all the Kraang look practically the same, and all the robots (like Irma or the teacher Ms. Cambell) are mass-produced like the Kraang exoskeletons is pointless.
Also complaining about the Mutanimals being re-used models because they brought back old characters? What? |

So we've seen the horde of April clones and now the battalion of Irma clones. Which character will be next to get the mass production treatment?

My bet's on Casey, since they cloned the other two main human characters (and Shredder, although they were half crustacean).

Now that I think about, maybe they do need teenagers replicas t control. If the invasion is global, they could use them to spy and check weak points or the social live of any country. Kraang spies between the humans that they would slave |

Michelangelo holograms were all the rage in "Cowabunga Shredhead," so I'm surprised we haven't seen that yet. Also, it's been a while since we've seen the human Karai model, so I wouldn't be surprised if Karai clones make an appearance in the future.

Why do people always accuse CGI shows of being lazy when they reuse things? It's not laziness. People work very hard on these shows. If they didn't they wouldn't be in the business, especially not on a mainstream show like this.
They can't just make a brand new set and ten new characters if they don't have the money (or time) for it. |

Great episode though if this was the final battle with the krang then they should have destroyed Krang Prime. Though I hope that Krang sub-prime survives because I actually like him better then Krang Prime.

Then Subprime would have more cybernetic implants. Speaking of implants, I expected him to have those, that were supposed to heal his severe injuries.

I wasn't really impressed with this episode. I felt that this wasn't really necessary to make this a two-parter. Yeah, we got the Mighty Mutanimals and the humans are back to normal but that's it. This episode was just....okay.

Hey all. I finally got to see this episode tonight. It was pretty interesting and it was nice to see Kurtzman again, although, I still say there's more to him than meets the eye. How the Mt. Fuji does he manage to get his information on the Kraang. I mean, geez, no one's that good.
The beginning of the ep had me scratching my head. Mikey messing with the checmicals and then about to mix it with Donnie's retromutagen? Good grief....but at least it was a good discovery and I wonder if that batch of retromutagen would've helped to cure Karai...somewhat... Who knows. Oh, it was nice to see the mutanimals make a debut. So at the moment we have two original members (Slash and Leatherhead) and two new (Rockwell and Pete). I now wonder if they'll manage to finally cure him and I hope the Rat King comes back at some point. Think about it! Dr. Rockwell and Splinter vs Rat King. It wouold be awesome...imo, and well warranted. I also hope that Sir Malacchi and the Newtralizer return at some point. I know others had to have mentioned this, but I loved Mikey and Leatherhead hugging. It was so adorable. It makes me want to go back and rewatch all of the Leatherhead eps. Kraang Subprime....wow. lol Everything he said was what I already was thinking and had posted elsewhere in this forum. The Kraang have been on earth for thousands of years and they still can't speak naturally or get anything done. Like I said when I first started watching this show, I like the irony regarding the Kraang. They're a bunch of brains, but they aren't all that bright. Let's see, what else....*snickers over Slash's "Darn Dirty Ape" line. Oh! Tell me I wasn't the only one who thought of the Thundercats when Slash was like, Mutanimals go! Or was it, Mutanimals Hooooo!" Sounded like the latter to me. I enjoyed Mikey's taking control in Dimension X. One thing I found interesting compared to the first time they went there, was how Leo was giving orders and Raph and Donnie were listening to him while Mikey kind of sulked because they weren't listening to him. For this ep, Mikey straight up took command and even told Leo, "I'm leader in Dimension X". He was much more assertive than the first time, so it's nice to see that side of him on occasion. Anywho, the ep was cool....oh and I like how Dr. Rockwell annoyed Donnie and he did that thing with his eyes. Dunno why that made me laugh so much. That part where Donnie also acted like Scotty from Star Trek was nice and when Donnie said, "Stop pressuring me!" I also wanted him to say, "You make me want to scream!" ^^;;; I also liked Raph's, "You're not beaming my particles" after Leo was all excited over it, since it's like Space Heroes and imo, Seth did that line really nicely! So innocent and teen-like. I approve. *nods* lol Now that the Kraang are temporarily dealt with, I can't help but wonder what'll happen next regarding Shredder and if the Mutanimals will even be around for that. They don't really have any connection to Shredder's situation, only the Kraang, unless they just randomly help the turtles. Last edited by ssjup81; 03-11-2015 at 09:28 AM. |

Oh, I completely forgot to comment on Kurtzmen's slide. Y-yeah... I wonder if that is a one-off thing or the, "Oops, wrong slide" gag...but I dunno. That lizard lady was wearing Kurtzman's hat...
Raph and Mikey's looks were great, though. Raph gasped, I noticed. Hey, what if lizard lady is Mona Lisa and Raph was reacting to her, enamored with with such a reptilian beauty or something? |

This episode really rekindled my interest in this show. Not that I was "uninterested" before, but...things really started moving this time around. And seeing Pigeon Pete return has been one of my favorite moments from this series' entire run, even though he was most definitely a liability...but it's all good.
One thing I didn't like was Rockwell. He's kind of a jerk, and he's voiced by the ubiquitous Tom Kenny - whose inclusion I should've seen coming at some point or another, but still. I've heard his voice far too many times for me to connect with that character...but I guess it's fine. Same reason I didn't like Roger Craig Smith as Pulverizer (there were other reasons I didn't like Pulverizer...). Seeing them re-introduce Rockwell with reimbursed powers was pretty glorious, though. Not gonna lie. Oh, and Irma. About a month ago, I despised that plot twist in The Invasion...but I like that they're embracing that now. Using "Irma-Bots", and having Kraang Sub-Prime continually use that guise even though he no longer needs it. I like that a lot. It's very tongue-in-cheek. So if human Irma doesn't come back, I'm cool with that. Sh*t happens.
