it is extremely frustrating but despite how they own it now, spongebob will prob continue 2 win since it was nick created and tmnt wasnt

Of course.

It's like saying who do you love more, your baby or your golden goose?

TMNT makes far more money for Nick than SpongeBob does at this point and time, and yes the money is nice, but you still love your baby more.

Case in point.

Instead of honking, Nick's golden goose just laughs that annoying dolphiny laugh. Baa'aa'aa'aa'aa! Give the award to the writers and producers who actually melted the flesh off a character and reduced him to a pile of guts in a jar, for cryin out loud.

Can somebody tell me if in the last episode, Casey discovered that Shredder had captured Karai and if he told to the turtles?

Yes, exactly. Spongebob sucks and TMNT rules, but you know Nick doesn't feel that way and neither do the kids voting for these things, though I do agree that the awards are rigged. They just have to be.

Not to mention TMNT (in general) has a MUCH larger fanbase than SpongeBob. Like, it's got comics, movies, TV shows, toys, etc. TMNT is such a huge moneymaker that it's so weird on how it doesn't win. Not to mention that I think almost everyone would take an actual story over random, stupid **** that happens every episode.

You know I do, and I'm sure many on here are in agreement. It just sucks how TMNT is treated on these award shows.

I think the only reason why TMNT is still standing isn't because of the mass fan-base, but because of the humor. Nick is kind of like the FOX of kid's television. They don't want serious shows, they want sitcoms/dramas with humorous plots. TMNT's humor is the only thing that keeps it going because it's a lighthearted show when it needs to be, but it's also a darker show. TMNT has always been advertised as family friendly, but this show gets darker and darker every season. I mean, in season 1 it was that brutal first fight with Shredder, season 2 it was when Yoshi lost his daughter to the mutagen and Shredder nearly killed Leo, and season 3 has retained the same tone as season 2. Think of Korra: Korra was associated as being a dark show, as it was made for the teenagers who had grown up watching Avatar. Nick got that over with as soon as possible, and it worries me that season 4 will be the last TMNT 2012 season. Nick needs to learn that a talking sponge is actually a terrible idea, and that the current seasons are awful.

I think it's a very nice blend of everything. I'm not put off at all by the humorous parts. I think they are well-timed.

Cartoon Network is having that same problem. Thundercats Green Latern Beware the Batman and Young Justice have all been kicked out because they cant stand action shows.

What is the issue with kids networks and action shows

well cartoon network i herd dropped thunder cats for legends of Chima because it was more or less the same thing to them and it was cheaper on there end.
Nick, isn't afraid of having a serious show, take avatar , both the last air bender and the legend of Kora. both are very serious with humor added in but both are rather dark stories being told.
TMNT should be doing the same. for the most part they are , at times they learn more on the humor side but it works.
i for one totally love the darker tones in the show, even as kid watching the old cartoon i wanted it to be more serious more like the comics(mirage)

Yeah, but LOK was moved to strictly online probably because of ratings. I'd hate for this show to end after four seasons, but if it happens, then it happens.

You mean by letting it go from what was supposed to be a mini series to a full 4 season show? How awful.

What do you mean? I did. I started with season 3 of Korra, unfortunately, but was hooked from the get-go, and snapped up season 4 as soon as it was released. And as soon as I find the first two seasons, you can bet I'll snap those up, too. (I was a bit late getting into the series so the first two seasons are no longer being sold in stores here, but I love it already.)
