Mind Control. Haven't done that before...

Wasn't the whole point of the 'Dark Leo' storyline that Leo legitimately believed in Shredder's ideals? The twists and manipulation of Leo's psyche was what made it fascinating and made Shredder out to be a much more psychological villain rather than straight brute force!

It seems they missed the whole point of that story arc but I'm being way too presumptuous! If it does end up as a simple mind-control episode, that's a huge con to the show as a whole to me...

Oh my god!!!!! It's not just Raph either. Looks like Slash and Dr Rockwell are going to be under the Mind control serum too

This is going to be big and going to last more than 1 episode and where are Rahzar, Fishface, Bebop and Rocksteady.

Another thing I'm curious about is where they are. It almost looks like some place of worship, or perhaps a museum? I can't put my finger on it.

I think it's just Shredder's lair, in the dungeon part.

Ahh, it's probably as simple as that. I think those large statues just threw me off. I didn't think Shredder had that sort of interior décor.

Good eye. Didn't notice Rockwell and Slash when I saw the promo. For Slash's part, no surprise since this is a loose adaptation of City Fall.

And something tells me that if Bishop does appear, he could still be one of those villains with good publicity. And yes, I remember that he's reformed in the 2003 series' Fast Forward season.

The new episodes look pretty cool, mostly the Dark Raph one. It's obvious Muckman will be a one-off character to likely never appear again. Mondo Gecko looks pretty interesting but I don't know what to think of him. His design looks a lot like the show's Napolean Bonafrog, besides, you know, he's a gecko.
Dark Raph looks amazing. No idea if it will be one episode, hopefully not and I don't think it will be. My guess is at least 2 episodes, probably no more than 4. But just because the arc itself won't last long, it doesn't mean it won't have repercussions. I hope this is a lot like City Fall in some aspects.
Will Raph genuinely believe that Leo is the enemy because of the mind control serum or just act like a robot with no outside thought from what Shredder tells him to do? I hope for the former. It seems a lot more dramatic and a kind of mind control the show hasn't done yet.
If this Dark Raph arc is big - not just one episode - could it lead to Tang Shen's appearance like in IDW? It might not make sense in this show but I'd like to see it happen in some form.

I can't see this only being 1 episode because Shredder's big plan is to use the mind serum on everyone but it won't turn out as planned because if Shredder has Tiger Claw, Baxter, Raph, Slash and Dr Rockwell on his side, but where are Fishface, Rahzar, Hun, Bebop and Rocksteady and is Karai still captive or has she escaped.

I'm wondering they broke away from Shredder to have ther own groups and maybe using the mind serum on other people and mutants for there groups and this will end up a City at War story in the season final.

So i'm guessing that Raph will go under the mind control after the Mondo Gecko episode (episode 17) which could be episode 18 so this arc could last until the season final.

I saw the promo this morning and I am stoked! This is awesome! I didn't notice Slash and Rockwell in the promo, but that can't be good if they're involved. Also love Mondo Gecko and Robbie's voice for him. Best quote:

I'm sorry that I keep going back to muckman but when seeing this preview, I can tell that muckman has super powers. It seems to me that he can control garbage/trash. Still,whose going to mutate into muckman? Plus, where is dark raph supposed to be? It looks like some kind of Egyptian temple and Hawaiian place with those weird tiki skull things

Sound reasoning considering that we know that there's exactly one episode between the Muck Man and Mondo debuts and the promo seemed to highlight three episodes specifically.

I hope there aren't episodes without Raph. That'd perturb me. This mind control thing... if it's this soon, I don't think it'll last until the season finale. I don't think it's going to be one episode, though. Maybe 2 or 3. And I hope it does have repercussions. Leo's one-shot seemed to not have many repercussions in terms of his rivalry with Shredder, which makes me so mad.

Also, anyone else hoping that Raph gets a new costume like Leo did in City Fall? And by the way things are looking, it's obvious they're doing their own version of City Fall/City at War, probably a mix between them.

I wouldn't be surprised. They'll probably do to him what they did to Karai minus the mutation. Looks like he'll be forgotten in the Mondo Gecko episode.
