I expect Minae Noji was only contracted to play Karai in the first movie thats why she's now voice acting in the Nick show because if she was contracted to play Karai in the 2 movie she probably couldn't be involved in the Nick Show.

Or she's busy with other things and doesn't have the time to play Karai in the 2nd movie.

Brittany is a solid actress with more credits under her belt than Minae.

While its true Minae didn't have alot to play with in TMNT-1, but her performance was wooden, and her delivery was bland. I had a hard time believing the Foot actually respected her authority seeing as every time she was made to look foolish by her own actions, or that of her men.

Shes a super cool person - but Brittany will bring her experience with her, and that counts for a lot.

Yeah, Noji in comparison just looks like a woman that could easily kick your ass. Hell, those cheekbones alone are probably weapons. Hope the new girl can play it badass enough, I know nothing about her prior work.

I swear, I feel like these films are seriously going to become a revolving door of Hollywood... changing it up with each sequel until everyone gets their turn.

my guess...too many cooks in the kitchen. when the rock comes in, someone gets pushed out, lol.

unless you're the fast and furious series - and you just keep adding more and more ppl till you're the justice league of car movies.

Nah. Paramount wanted to remove all traces of the first film. Which meant firing all actors, and killing all Joe characters (except Cobra Commander, Zartan, Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes, whom they couldn't part with) that appeared in it.

Also, redesigning every visual element of the film that was crapped on with the first.

And Channing Tatum's Duke, though he supposedly died, it was left open enough for him to return. Dennis Quaid was removed because of Bruce Willis, there was no room for two old-ish Joes. Honestly apart from adding a Wayans, most of the cast was pretty spot on, though I hated what they did with Baroness, though she looked the part thoroughly.

Even the new Foot Soldiers look pretty cool. That is a good way to update an old design.

Karai looks good.

Bebop and Rocksteady look silly, as they should. I can't wait to see them post-mutated.

As much as I enjoyed the first film, I'm not surprised their going with the soft reboot approach. The first film suffered due to reshoots so it only makes sense to rectify stuff this way. I want to know whether or not the first film will be considered canon or not though.

You really need to stop with the whole noses thing. It's getting really boring. TURTLES HAVE NOSTRILS!

Yes yes, no woman should be allowed on tv, radio, cinema, the cover of a magazine or anything else unless she gives you, personally, a hard-on. As we all know, sex appeal is the sovereign duty of every vagina-American.

My god, what a sexist oink.

I'm also going to go out on a limb here and say that the PD crew are getting way more props for these designs than they deserve - they shouldn't be congratulated for doing something that should've been done in the first place.

IMO, Shredder should stand out visually - even if he's on a mission surrounded by other Foot soldiers. There's really nothing that makes him look any different from the rest of the grunts. At the very least, he should be wearing spiked arm-guards/gauntlets no matter whether he's in "stealth mission gear" or not. There's nothing awe-inspiring, menacing or charismatic about this look.

Same people that splooged all over everything about the first movie are the same people splooging all over everything about this movie.

They'll suck down whatever they're given with a great big smile.

We might as well since it's the best we're gonna get until the next inevitable reboot.

For the record though, I'm not one of the ones splooging over this film. But I am optimistic.

While it seems increasingly unlikely we'll see him complete Vol. 4 this side of the millennium I don't see how releasing the those and potential future issues online is a bad sign.

What's your idea of sexy? Show us your ladyfriend, if you've got one.

Your attitude towards women is disgusting.

I assumed that's why she isn't playing karai. Guess I'll get used to this fakekarai. Better have a damn good explanation why shredder and karai look different.
