TMNT Season 3 Official Info Thread

Hmmm. Leo's going up against Shredder alone? And maybe Shredder does mutate himself in this episode?

Another plausible theory: remember the Shredder minions that Splinter killed? Maybe Stockman combined them into one "Mega Shredder."

But if Shredder is mutating himself, it's pretty much game over. The Turtles can barely fight regular Shredder. I highly doubt they'd be able to take on super Shredder. Also, if they do mutate Shredder, please just make him a beefed up version of Shredder rather than some animal.

Second thought, don't mutate Shredder. He's the only human enemy that stands a chance against them.

San Diego Comic Con will be airing July 9th-12th this year. Nick probably wants to get these episodes out of the way so they can hype up the finally.


New York Comic Con will be Oct 8th-11th.

Or he goes in to end the Shredder once and for all. The others realizes what he's going to try to do and they rush to stop him or get him out of there so there isn't a repeat of what happened the last time he faced Shredder on his own. And one of his brothers gets hurt pushing him out of harms way.

All of these new episodes have my intrest. I wonder if every one else thought it wasn't a good idea to go fight Shredder? Why let Leo go alone again though? The healing hands is limited. They sort of implied that with the way Splinter with healing, April. it isn't just one session and done.

Awesome episode descriptions. Leo is looking for a death wish if he's trying to face Shredder alone, but we all know he'll do anything he can to save Karai. Either way, I can't wait for these eps to air!

Wait a minute- what if this "mutant threat" is something else. What if the Shredder's minions captured one of the turtles (my money's on Mikey or Raph, but seeing as Raph's the dude in distress this incarnation, it's probably him) and tells Leo to come to the Shredder's place alone. In an awesome one-on-one battle between Leo and Shredder (who plans on mutating himself to get stronger), the captured turtle accidently gets mutated instead, and Leo has to deal with this threat! Then again, Nick doesn't seem to be the kind to throw curveballs, so the Shredder will probably just mutate himself and Leo will just have to hightail out of there when it happens.

If that were to happen, they might as well rename them Tokka or something else. Perhaps if Raphael were to mutate and if the mind control serum works, I'd expect something emotional building into the finale. I still wouldn't like Super Shredder to come this early, he seems more like a series finale enemy than throwing him into a cartoon for the first time.

To get back on topic though, they're really coming down to the wire and the Mega Shredder episode I'm looking forward to, as well as the time travel episodes.

Yeah, but...why single out Leonardo? Sure, Shredder knows he's the leader and (possibly) the favorite son of Splinter (or at least Shredder would assume that). He wants all the Turtles dead, equally. Only reason he fought Leo was because he happened to be alone.

Which brings me to another thing. Remember how in the descriptions of "The Invasion," Donnie and Leo were supposed to have a big disagreement on what to do and "fight" about it? I don't recall much fighting. Hardly any, really. I need to watch the episode again, but they had to separate due to the Kraang invading the lair and Leo decided to go after the Foot.

She was able to be in her human form again yes, so obviously Stockman did something that stabilized her mutation.

A fight between Leo and Donnie doesn't specifically mean an actual physical fight, between those two a fight would at most be a heated argument. And it ended with Donnie saying "You're leading us to disaster." Simply because Leo was not bothering to consider the mech he had been building. Leo had valid reasons why it shouldn't be used, but they were also talking an invasion. I think potential damage to the city caused by the mech would pale next to damage to the city caused by the Kraang. But then again, Donnie taking out the city's power grid also could have made it easier for the Kraang to take over.


As far as we know the issue between them hasn't been resolved, just put aside. So the issue maybe Leo acting on his own, but someone else gets hurt instead.

Adventure Time is ranked#1. Come to think of it, before watching Battle For New York on the official site. When I found first found out that Tom Kenny is voicing Rockwell, I thought he was going to sound exactly like the Ice King (or Simon Petrikov).

We may not be getting the next new episode on June 14th. Looks like the schedule changed - Zap2It has Turtles in Time listed for June 28th now and no airdates for the Yokai and Mega Shredder episodes. FutonCritic updated their site for new Nick episodes in June but nothing is listed for TMNT. Weird.
