Since were are going to get a humans vs. Mutants plot line late next season, perhaps we may see groups like HAVOC.
I know the one off stories aren't popular, but they can be good if done well they could be enjoyable. So it could be possible to do a Nick Version of the episode H.A.T.E. from the 2k3. The Turtles have been exposed to the media and Mutants are being hunted through out New York. The Turtles have left for break at the farm house so they can recover from the stress this is causing them and figure out what they need to do. Donnie has grown quiet and keeps to himself much of the time. Mikey is happy to help and tries to keep things optimistic Raph tries to be there for his brothers however possible. But at the same time struggling with the injustice about how they save the lives of every human on several occasions, and all they get repaid with is contempt and fear. Leo is determined to face whatever challenges may come, and while he doesn't expect the world would willingly accept them for what they are. He wants to prove that not all mutants are the monsters humans believe them to be. Splinter has accepted that this is a new challenge in their lives and that they would have to face it as it comes. One morning April is out with the Turtles picking peaches (or Apples, oranges) from the orchard that is on the farms property. A wounded man (Michael Murphy) runs out of the woods and passes out. Michael awakens and freaks out because he's surrounded by mutants. April and Casey calm him down and tell him that the Turtles are the good kind of mutants. Donnie asks permission to examine Michael's injuries. Michael is dubious about mutants being good but allows Donnie to examine his injuries only. While Donnie is doing this he informs them that he was part of a malita group called "Human's Against Revolting Mutants" or H.A.R.M. Unfortunately Skonk their leader is planning to unleash a nuke in New York City...to deal with the mutant problem. While Michael feels that mutants should be dealt with, he doesn't want to kill innocent men, women, and children in order to do it. When he objected to the plan they tried to silence him so he wouldn't report them to the authorities. They hear voices approaching and Michael freaks out knowing that is the rest of his militia buddies and they are coming to finish him off. The Turtles tell April and Casey to get the wounded man to the nearest hospital. In the mean time they would fend off the Militia supporters. The malitia supporters continue looking for their insubordinate. One of them mentions there is a farm house near by. And poses the possibility that Michael could have talked to the people living there. Skonk, says they would kill everyone in the farm house if needed to keep 'em from talking. The malitia is confronted by the Turtles and chased away. Skonk wants to deal away with the Turtle mutants. He has some of his followers Chet, Spuds, and Puke to spy on the Turtles and they learn the "Mutant Scum" live in the farm house with a human boy and girl. Skonk sends his followers to eliminate the mutants and the two traitors. The Turtle in the mean time discuss what should be done about the bomb. Raph says Donnie would take care of it. Donnie however speaks up and and says no. Casey and Raph starts to tell Donnie off for being a coward. Donnie however says he doesn't want the bomb to go to New York. But he's never dealt with a nuke before. If he dismantles it wrong, the thing could explode and cause a radioactive hot zone. Casey points out that he has to deal with the bomb because it could cause New York city and all it's inhabitants (some of which are friends of theirs) to be blown off the map. Chet, Spuds, Puke and Bubba go face the Turtles at the house. During the battle, Spuds and Puke grab April and Casey. Tie them up and put them in the back of the van carrying the nuke saying they would fry with the Mutant Scum living in the city. The other Turtles race after the van in the Party Wagon, Donnie, Raph, and Mikey jump out of the party wagon and and into the van with the nuke. Raph to deal with Skonk and Spuds. Mikey and Donnie deal with Puke and Bubba as well as freeing April and Casey. Donnie tells Mikey to take April and Casey and get them to safety, he would try to defuse the bomb. Mikey, April, and Casey object but Donnie insists Raph gets Spuds out of the van, but Skonk shakes Raph off before he can get him out. The Turtles and co quickly pile into the party wagon and race after the van. Skonk plows straight into mountain wall causing the bomb to explode destroying the van and himself. Everyone is horrified and thinks Donnie was killed in the explosion. However Donnie appears very shaken and badly banged up...but alive. He reveals he didn't disable the bomb, but removed the plutonium core at the last moment before jumping out. Back at the farm house Casey tells everyone that Michael had explained everything to the police, Spuds, Chet, Puke, and Bubba and the other militia members were arrested. Splinter goes up to Donnie's room to see how he's doing. Donnie insists he's fine, he just has trouble accepting this victory. While the out come was good, and the person at the head of it was a flawed individual. But he was still an individual who was doing what he believed was a greater good. Re: The Good genes idea - would definitely work, though I wonder if they would wait that long to mention to Casey about April's half kraang status...
Would it work better if they used that concept as a means of introducing Bishop? Have it turn out that the origin of these strange mutants and the disease afflicting Don turns out to be man made - and an attempt to discredit the turtles and mutants in general (especially as even Muckman has been accepted by the city as a 'hero') As for the HARM idea... A rogue anti mutant militia might be an interesting ep - though I doubt they'd have acquired something quite as potent as a Nuke - and it'd be hard to squeeze a threat that significant into a one shot episode... Maybe if it was just a kind of pseudo organised lynch mob? They could capture Mikey and try to use him to lure out the others, forcing a confrontation? The Turtles have to not only rescue their brother without harming him, but also without harming the humans (as it would only make matters worse). Raph could be struggling with his anger over how they're being treated, whilst Donnie's advising caution and Leo's struggling to find a way to negotiate. Whilst the theme might be a little 'adult'/'dark' overall, you could alleviate that a bit by making the Militia members a little more comical (a bit like the Dream Beavers episode)

A million people have probably already said this... But my favorite 4kids episode was bishop torturing Raph.... I wish Nick would give it there own spin.
Actually, I also like the Archie plot where scientists are pocking and prodding on a poor defenseless Mikey...

I mean i know it's implied that he died, but leave it open for parents to say "No sweety, he jumped out at the last minute." But that was of sorts what H.A.T.E. literally wanted to do in the 2k3. Nuke New York city so that get rid of all the aliens. So I thought they'd do the same thing with wanting to get rid of all the mutants. Having April and Casey get captured and thrown in with the bomb might be too much. Maybe have a moment where April and Casey are visiting Michael Murphy in the hospital. April tells them that four certain friends of theirs did offer their concerns. Murphy tell them he's talked to the police about what his friends were planning. April nods before saying she understands that with all that has been going on, the concept of good mutants might feel far fetched. And yes there are a number of bad mutants out there, but there are good ones as well. At the end Murphy arrives at the farm house to thank April, Casey, and the Turtles for helping him. He's still unsure about mutants in general, but he's going to trust that not all mutants are bad. Quote:
As for Good Genes being an introduction to Bishop. In the 2k3 Bishop is introduced when the Triceraton's are invading the Earth, and even though the Turtles had never met him, he some how knows all about them. The Outbreak is an unforeseen problem caused by a fake Alien Invasion that Bishop creates to get more funding. Last edited by victory_angel; 07-14-2015 at 05:04 PM. |

When Bishop shows, yes there should be an issue between Bishop and Raph. Because anyone who deliberately desires to hurt his brothers in any way is on his scum list. And Donnie would see him as an intellectual enemy because both of them do used science and technology for the betterment of the world and save it from extraterrestrial threats. Bishop also does use scientific research as an excuse for torture. While Donnie prefers to leave any studies or things involving another living creature to as minimal a level as possible. |

I think the 'losing intelligence' part will be more akin to that one episode from the FW series, Leonardo Lightens Up, in which it's going to be more of a wacky "character gets a personality shift, shenanigans ensue, then gets turned back by the end of episode" rather than something played up to be serious such as Good Genes where Donnie lost more than intelligence when he double-mutated and it lasted for two episodes. Not counting the build-up it had prior. Unless he becomes more than whom I've already dubbed 'Dumb Donnie,' I remain doubtful this'll be anything more than a silly "Don acts like Mikey for a bit due to an accident."

I came up with this plot for the original episode idea thread. Here's and updated version of the plots.
April, Donnie, and Casey are with Kirby while the other Turtles our doing their part of the mission and will rendezvous with their brother and friends shortly. Kirby asks Donnie to help him with something in the basement. Not having any reason not to trust the older man, Donnie follows. When they reach the basement, Kirby says "I'm sorry about this, Donatello." Before Donnie can ask what he means, he is hit with a tranq dart and quickly falls under it's affects. Dirk Savage appears and thank Dr. O'Neil for performing his duty as a citizen of the city. a couple of EPF soldiers carry Donnie away and puts him in the back of a van to be carried off somewhere. Kirby informs Dirk that Donnie's brothers would be arriving shortly. Dirks tells the EPF to take Donatello to a secure location. Kirby joins his daughter and Casey upstairs when the Turtles show up. Kirby informs them of what their brother is doing. Mikey however senses the lie and demands to know what the older man had done with his brother. April is taken aback at this thinking Mikey is acting out of character. Mikey however says that Kirby is lying to them about Donatello. April doesn't want to believe it and even tells Mikey to stop making up lies about her father. Kirby however knows that he can no longer maintain the lie and says "I'm sorry April, I had to do it." April is taken aback by this just as several EPF soldiers burst in intending to take the other turtles captive. Turtles retreat with Casey. Kirby tries to stop April, but she says she can't believe he would do something like this before racing after her friends. Last edited by victory_angel; 08-11-2015 at 10:32 AM. |

Since time travel has officially been introduced, I was thinking Same As It Never Was being adapted into a story arc of 5 episodes. Granted that's pretty impossible, but wishful thinking. Granted I only made two episode this far, but hey it's still progress.
Episode 1- The Turtles land in New York for the first time in a while, but Renet is unable to help them this time around. She's forced to leave for a while to regain her strength, leaving the Turtles confused on what's going on. They look over the city, seeing the people as slaves and it in ruins. Someone then spots them, leaving them confused on what's happening leading them to run away. They then find Slash and at first all seems well. However, Slash ends up attacking Raphael for no reason at all, leading to the other three to prepare to fight. Before they can, Mondo Gecko, Leatherhead, and Rockwell arrive and they easily overwhelm the group. Following a brutal beating, they are forced to retreat, completely shocked and angry over what happened. During this, they encounter this universe's version of Pete, who's much more timid and has multiple scars. Shielding himself, the Turtles reveal they aren't from this timeline. Surprised, Pete smiles for the first time since what happens and fills them in. He then recaps in a massive flashback, where he says he knows this because of him watching from above. (Flashback is also shown in near entirety, not just simple showing) In this universe, Shredder has completed the mind-control serum and has blasted the entire city with it. His first ORDER is convincing everyone that all mutants are evil and orders for all to look out. Destruction to the city then occurs and nobody is aware that Shredder is the cause of it, where he places the blame on the Turtles. Exposing the world to them, he shows them as the cause for all this and presses them, Splinter, April, and Casey as public enemies. Anyone who also dares to rebel will be executed. With the news of them spreading across New York, they force April, Casey, and Splinter to escape the city for their safety. Willing to protect New York, they head out and contact their allies to be safe (Donnie also leaves blueprints for a new Metalhead for Rockwell to make), where they go into an alleyway where they are caught. The Foot Clan then arrives, with hundreds of soldiers and bots popping up in the area. At first, the Turtles fight bravely and are able to hold their own for a while. However, Baxter Stockman, Tiger Claw, Fishface, Rahzar, Bebop, and Rocksteady all arrive. Stockman, Rahzar, and Fishface are easily defeated but the other three take more time to beat, with the Turtles becoming worn out from the fight. Shredder then arrives and the Turtles are easily defeated, knocked to the brink of death. Their fate is left unknown for now during this arc and Pete wishes to intervene but is caught and forced to fly away. The Mutanimals are furious over these laws and both Slash and Leatherhead are upset over this. At this time, the Mutanimals bring in a homeless Mondo Gecko to train him and tend to him. Leatherhead and Slash train the teenager in fighting while Rockwell upgrades the skateboard and completing a new Metalhead in case the worse comes up. With all the plans set in motion, they head out to fight, but despite their preparations, they are defeated and captured again. Brought to Baxter for experimenting, the five are set up to be mind-controlled, where the Mutanimals are set to turn into mercenaries, carrying out the executions and hunts for rebels. In a fit of desperation, Rockwell (he's transformed third) fires a blast at the Foot and frees Pete so there's still hope. The remainder of the episode is planning how to fight back with the Mutanimals locating them, ending the episode with a fight about TO BEGIN. Episode 2- Continuing from last time, Pete and the Turtles are battling the Mutanimals. This time around, they are able to best Rockwell and Leatherhead, but the other two retreat, hoping to take them down later. They then decide to go back up to see if anything has changed. Meanwhile, we cut to the city again with Rahzar and Tiger Claw hunting for rebels. Rahzar is able to find Murakami and is about to silt him until a magical blast goes off. Sir Malachi appears out of nowhere, showing New York still is being fought for. Rockets are also fired, with a new improved Metalhead appearing. Malachi previously found Metalhead before in the sewers while on the run and reactivates him. Tiger Claw is enraged at this and attempts to attack both, but a grenade is thrown, causing the mutants to retreat. Arriving following the fireworks, the five meet up with the two and they reveal they've been led into fighting due to the absence of the Mutanimals. Suddenly, a completely masked person drops down and they begin to attack the Turtles. (commercial break) This masked figure fights harshly and is able to knock down the Turtles due to his fighting style of weapons. Donnie is knocked down and the figure attempts to choke him to death until Metalhead forces him to get off as it is his master. He blames them for causing all this happening and Raph knows who's voice it is. It's revealed that it's Casey leading a rebellion against the Foot and proving his own innocence too. He's angry that they forced him behind and has a bit of distrust in a sudden return. Curious, Leo asks what happened to Splinter and April if they are still alive too, leading to another major flashback. Casey reveals that when he, April, and Splinter are attempting to escape underground through the Shellraiser, a few unknown figures attacked them. April and Casey are bested and Splinter is able to hold them down for a while. One of the figures fires an energy blast attempting to kill Splinter, but April takes the hit instead. Another blast is attempted but April uses her Kraang abilities to cause the blast to go somewhere else, hitting the upper part of the lair. Deciding it's best for them to go without her, she uses her powers to keep the beings at bay in an attempt to beat them. Splinter forces himself to go, understanding what she has planned, but Casey doesn't want to leave. Following a goodbye kiss, he's dragged out by Splinter as they both watch in sadness the collapse of the lair and the death of their friend. Following their escape, Casey tells Splinter to run as he's a much more wanted man than he is. When asked what he has planned, Casey retorts he's fighting back, leaving the sensei behind. The fate of Splinter is also left in the unknowing right now. With a new trio of allies to combat the Foot, they form an alliance to end the destruction. Pete decides to join up with the group to even their odds. Deciding to split up, it is decided the Turtles will work on a device to save the citizens while Casey's group goes out to continue the fight for freedom. We see a little more action for Casey's group as they are ambushed by a few Foot-Bots before cutting back to the Turtles as they attempt to hide some place to work on the invention to bring back the citizens' minds. Hearing Donnie's voice of saying they're doomed, Raph hits him, but says it wasn't him. The two begin to argue over the uncalled for hit when Michelangelo breaks it up. Though peace is made, their voices are still going off, but it isn't them. When Leo yells at them to get their acts together, he then looks up as he hears a similar voice to his. Wondering where it came from, he looks up and is horrified at what he sees above in the form of four shadowy figures. Completely shocked, they see another set of Turtles revealed to be the four that were supposedly killed. At first, Mikey attempts to greet them, but Dark Raph (or Mikey) attacks the youngest brother. It is revealed they have fallen under the serum and are seated as the best of the Foot Clan. What leads into is a massive fight with Turtle on Turtle actions, but the dark counterparts easily best them in this period due to their advanced training. The episode ends with the Dark Turtles about to kill the heroes, with Dark Leonardo saying to his younger counterpart “Do you love being a Turtle now?” Now, to discuss the appearances of the Dark Turtles, they'd be based on different incarnations. However, they also address each other by full name (like the Fred Wolf Turtles) and are wearing their red masks. (Mirage Comics) Leonardo- Dark Leo outfit from Cityfall with a scar across Leo's face and metal hand. (IDW Comics/ Image Comics) Raphael- Nightwatcher-like armor with Shredder gauntlets. (TMNT and Image/2003) Donatello- Covered in cybernetics. (Image Comics) Michelangelo- Turtle Titan outfit with an eye patch and torn mask. (2003 series) |

Interesting story GM. I can certainly see something of this scale. However while I understand people wanting a same as it never was situation it has mostly been successful in a media settings by focusing on Donnie.
Not to be an over zealous Donnie fan, but Same as it Never Was and Good Genes does illustrate how the team is really affected with Donnie's absence. Currently in the IDW the Turtles still have Donnie with them in an aspect, but they are still struggling to a degree. Creeping Doom also showed the Turtles Struggling in battle with Donnie's unfortunate state of mind. And in Good Genes, Leo does state to Splinter that he is at a loss for what should be done in that situation, and also states in the cold opening that if the outbreak mutation had happened to anyone else, they would have looked to Don for a cure. In Same as it Never Was When present day Donnie encounters Mikey, Mikey has essentially become Raph 2.0 and basically tells Donnie that after he vanished they had tried to keep fighting, but gradually everything fell apart. And he punctuates this statement by saying "Looks like we needed your level head after all..." Now I'm not saying the other turtles couldn't be sent to the future. But the outcome will be different depending. With Mikey absent for X number of decades. The other turtles would have given up on fighting. Mikey is their cheerleader, whenever any of them are down he picks them back up. He is their hope, and his innocents reminds them all of what they are fighting for. With Raph being absent. The other Turtles would be just battle hardened and world weary, but also carry the loss of Splinter and one brother would also be dead. And if not dead certainly left in a state where he is not able to fight Raph is their protector and muscle of the family. When one of the brothers is in serious danger, Raph is the one who jumps in to help. Raph who watches over them when they were sick or injured, and helps them get back into shape. With Leo absent, the Turtles would have just all gone their separate ways. Or they would have been scattered and taken out one by one. While we don't know what occurred over the three months the Turtles had been in Northampton, one would think that there would be family plan of how long they intended to sit and wait for Leo to wake up. But instead we only see them hanging out at the Farm House like nothing is going on. Eventually there would come a point where one of the Turtles, if not April or Casey would begin to ask how long they were going hide out at the farm house. Because while they are waiting for Leo to wake up, there are innocent people who are suffering at the hands of the Kraang which includes their parents and siblings, and New York can't afford to wait. In 2k3 there is also a short arc where Leo is away in Japan, and after two months Karai arrives at the Lair to get revenge on the Turtles for her father's imprisonment. With their home being destroyed around them, the remaining Turtles scatter themselves around the city and all of them are supposedly killed. (They all survive of course, but it easily could have been a different out come) With Donnie's absence, things would gradually begin to fall apart. First it would be appliances like the water heater, oven, or TV. It's assumable that Donnie is expected to fix it if anything happens. But then something like the Shellraiser breaks down or is damaged, Donnie runs systems on the Shellraiser so he's keeps everything up and running. Leo-Driver Mikey-Navigation Raph-Weapons Donnie-Systems. Then finally they whole family would fall apart. Leo and Raph would be constantly at each others throats. And yes Donnie's disappearance would be brought up in some of their arguments. Raph: If you were a better leader, Donnie wouldn't have disappeared. After all in SaiNW Mikey is the only one who is angry at Don. Both Leo and Raph are surprised and glad to see him. So that suggests to me that Leo and Raph knew what happened to Donnie, but didn't tell Mikey because the truth would be more damaging then covering it up as a disappearance. Donnie in various incarnations would step in and mediate arguments between Leo and Raph. Or at the very least try and keep Mikey and himself at a safe distance and let things run their course. Donnie in a way acts like a buffer zone for Mikey during the arguments because he has someone to sympathize with about said events. Without Donnie, the arguments would have a painful emotional impact on Mikey's psyche. And then finally everyone just goes their separate ways. They would continue fighting, because that is all they can do...but at the same time there is a mentality that just says "What's the point?" Also SaiNW does have an emotional impact as well that did deserve and aftermath event aside from Don hugging Raph and Mikey and saying "Yay, your alive and young again." Now if it had been the other three who were sent to the Future with Donnie left behind, that would also be a serious story line. Donnie is affected by his brothers, particularly their absence. Take for example how devastated Donnie had been when his brothers had been possessed by Ho Chan. Splinter I can see being overly protective of his remaining son as he has said his sons are the only thing he has left. Donnie would feel a heavy sense of loss with his brothers gone. Perhaps drifting around the lair as though looking for them. Eventually his brothers absence would grate upon him to the point where he feels someone needs to pay for what happened to his family. Given he is a gentlehearted personality he creates a second personality to disassociate himself from what he feels needs to be done. However in the IDW there was a Same as it Never Was plot where all of the Turtles are in that future. It's here they encounter an elderly version of Donnie who tells them that the only reason he still exists is because he gave up on being a ninja. And then after they were returned home to their time, Donnie has a point where does admit he had thought about quitting. And while he's trying to explain his reasons for doing so he says "I don't know why, but you guys all died because of me." Last edited by victory_angel; 08-29-2015 at 02:08 PM. |

I probably posted this already, but I'm too lazy to check.
I'd really like an episode completely from the perspective of Shredder's henchmen. Like the TF: Prime episode Thirst. |

(sees above post) Oh my gosh he's back!
VA, I get that, but the idea is very rarely explored whenever we anyone not Donnie or Leo vanished. We've seen both these two, but the goal of the story is to explore the one possibility if the Turtles are in over their heads with their confidence and how far that confidence can be a good or bad thing. We've seen it in the Nick show with plenty of other episodes, notably the Gauntlet and Mutation Situation coming to mind. Depending on how I'd place an episode arc of this caliber, it that possibility of possibly beating Shredder, returning with a vengeance for all they've done to screw him. That mind control plot I want the city transformed one or another, why mention it as a possibility in Casey vs the Underworld and not use it like the other two options of Karai and themselves? And like you said and how I mentioned it, this idea can work for Donnie as he's the most likely responsible for the cause of that universe's April, imagine the heartbreak from that... Now I'm just rambling with time travel problems, the point is to not only push the heroes into difficult territory, but their own shadows within these Dark Turtles. Basically, a what if scenario where Shredder has not only New York like in other versions, but the very things he despised as actual warriors. |

My guess is if April is abducted and made into Karai 2.0 it could go like this.
April and Casey are hanging out together on their way to the lair. Casey notices April has been unusually quiet and asks what's going on. April mentions she's been doing some thinking about them. Casey thinks this means she's taking this to mean that she's interested in going to the next level. April starts to explain but before they can do so they are jumped by Bebop and Rocksteady. The gruesome twosome take April captive and seriously injure Casey. Casey manages to contact the Turtles before he loses consciousness. The turtles find him and bring him back to the lair. In the mean time April is unconscious and strapped to a table in Stockman's lab. Tiger Claw has doubts about this task since it has failed in the Mutanimals, Raphael, and Karai. Shredder insists that while he still considers Karai as his daughter, she has proven to be a force he can no longer control. April however would serve as a greater weapon against the Turtles. Stockman administers the ear worm. April regains consciousness as it burrows it's way into her ear. She lets loose several minds blasts but succumbs to the worm. Casey wakes up and tells the turtles April had been captured by Rocksteady and Bebop. The Turtles leave Casey at the lair, while they themselves infultrate Shredder's lair. The turtles slit off into two groups one to the dungeon, the other to Stockman's lab. Leo and Raph check the dungeon and encounter Tiger Claw, Rocksteady, and Bebop. Donnie and Mikey enter stockman's lab and see April struggling against the straps binding her to the table. Donnie's about to jump down to help her, but Mikey tells him something is off. The two sneak down when Rahzar and Fishface attack them. Donnie takes out fishface while Mikey is holding off Rahzar. Donnie approaches April who is glad to see them. Donnie cuts her bindings, pulling out his T-phone he is sending a text message to Raph and Leo to let them know they have April and are on their way, when he's attacked from behind. April smiles evilly and tells him about how he made it too easy for her. Mikey sees this and rushes to his brothers aid. He also calls Leo about what's going down. But the only thing he can say is "Donnie's hurt....April" before he is cut off. Leo and Raph arrive at the lab and see Mikey and April fighting. Mikey is pleading with April saying they were her friends. When the others show up April evily taunts them and says "Give my regards to Karai." Mikey and Leo rushes to Donnie's side to see if he's okay, Raph eyes rest on where April had left and one had instinctively goes to his sai. Back at the lair everyone is distraught by this turn of events. Leo tells everyone that they would find a way to break the Shredder's control over April, but as of now she is their enemy and should be treated as such. Casey asks about Donnie. Raph sighs and says his physical injuries will heal, but the other injuries he sustained....they may never truly heal. As Raph's speaks the camera pans over Donnie who is being comforted by Mikey. On Donnie's bedside table is the music box Donnie had built for April long ago and April's tessen sits half folded beside it. |

Kirby is protective of April and desperately wants to keep her safe. And it feels like every time when she's with the Turtles she is placed in danger. It also doesn't help that he himself has been abducted, mutated, and abducted on top of being mutated. He's also not exactly blind to Donnie's feelings for April which also makes him even more uneasy about his daughters relationship with the Turtles.
In a misguided attempt to separate the Turtles from April's life, he sides with the EPF's anti-mutant task force. While Donnie is with April and Casey waiting for the other Turtles to return. Kirby convinces Donnie to follow him. Not having any reason not to trust Kirby, Donnie follows only to get jumped by Dirk Savage or Bishop and the EPF. The other Turtles arrive at April's apartment. When Kirby gives a cover story for Donnie's absence, Mikey suddenly gets hostel and demands to know what Kirby really did with their brother. April, Raph, and Casey all think Mikey is acting unreasonable. Mikey brings up the time he had said something was wrong about Mom thing and none of them believed him only for him to have been right all along. April refuses to believe Mikey until Kirby admits what mikey says was indeed true |

The turtles are surrounded at all sides in a battle against Dregg, who has unleashed a host of Vreen warriors, and bounty hunters including Armaggon and the Triceratons.
Their engine suffers heavy damage, but needs to still evade enemy fire. Knowing that they would all die if something isn't done, Donnie slips out of the bridge and goes to the engine core which is filled poisonous gas. Donnie manages to fix the engine core stabilizing the engine, but he succumbs to the poisoned gas. Everyone is glad when the ship stabilizes, until Casey notices Donnie is missing. This brings majority of the group to realizes that Donnie must have been the one who stabilized the engine. Racing to the engine, Leo braves the poison gas to pull his dying brother out. Donnie is unconscious and barely breathing, so he needs to be brought to sick bay at once. Raph seethes in anger before he angerly yells "DREGG!!!!!" |
