Red, orange, blue and purple. That colour combination always makes me smile.

And, as a Raph fan, I liked this episode and I liked Raph in it.
It seem that this episode was written by Mark Henry. The guy who wrote "Buried Secrets", and "Battle for New York, part 2" . The guy has a talent for writing scary episodes.

In that case, put him on the job of exploring the potentially scarier side of Raph's psyche.

LOL. Didn't we just hear how some kids were scared by this episodes and Buried Secrets?

But I would love to see this guy and Todd Casey write more episodes, although I want to see another Todd Casey's episode to be sure "The Noxious Avenger" wasn't a fluke.

Probably everyone just wants Raph more time in the sun. I don't think Raph was poor in any of those episodes at all, just his torture scene here would be my main gripe. Subjective I guess.

Anyways, barring Raph's torture scene... This was an amazing episode, tons of foreshadowing. Finally, more Splinter focus, the end of the mind control for now (though I wish it were better handled and would have loved NYC controlled), it really was a great episode on the first viewing. One of the best of season 3 by far.

Awesome episode, top five of the season for sure. Easter eggs and references were on point. Me and the girl friend got huge laughs from Splinters wheel, the card game, Mike's female form and more.

Splinter kicked ass and it was cool seeing him fight Bebop and Rocksteady. That normally happens once in each version.

Yeah, I'm just worried she's gonna be outta the picture for a while. Especially considering the outer space focus of season 4.

Are they going to jump straight into space? I think the next 3 episodes will prelude into it but I'm not sure.

I'm wondering on the video game reference in Don's torture area. Was it supposed to be Tetris or something else? It's familiar somehow.

Likewise was thinking Tetris with those colored blocks, but it looks like it played more like the typical "match three (or more) in a row" games.

Well we been in this scenario before with the Second Invasion then going onwards to North Hampton without any clue on what's happening to Karai. It most indefinitely that we're not see or hear anything about Karai until maybe season finale or little bit earlier before like last time.

Question is what they going do after they get back from their space adventures? Post pone it some more? Give her amnesia and turn her into chaotic neutral?

I couldn't resist.
Wow. Here is some nostalgia. Never liked that promo pic though. Her smile is definitely more of a grimace. And it's so... cheesecakey.
Appropriate in this context, however, LOL. Silly Nick is silly. And clever.

Edit: Ah, the giant rat wheel. A treadmill would be more practical, but much less funny.

Considering he fret about Karai for the entire season, Splinter doesn't come off as fickle.

And even then, it's bad enough to lose child. Imagine the emotional turmoil would have been like if he lost ALL 5 of his children.

I'm wondering, why does Splinter have a giant hamster wheel when before he was seemingly missing his humanity? Does he not care about being human anymore?

We're talking about a guy who has a cheese phone and eats frozen cheese as a treat.

I was only really bother by how Mikey bypass Donnie's torture device. Yeah, I know he play games like that all the time, but the way it was done when he touch it and then he magical appeared in the game. It was like how he distrust April's mom right away because "ninja sense".

Honestly, I am really worried. What if the show starts to flanderize Splinter? Before season two, Splinter never showed stereotypical rat traits at all. After season two, however, it started to show...forcefully. It seems like the writers are doing this to both lighten the show and meet Nickelodeon's standards of what is deemed acceptable for entertainment. Again, I am worried.

Well maybe that's him poking fun at himself. Remember how he joke that he likes a good maze?

Comedy is the best way through tragedy...I guess?

There's like one short scene where he's using that wheel compared to countless other scenes where his human traits are present, I wouldn't be worried.
