Idk, I still think it looks like there's a hole there. I don't think I see his suit the way you do. He's like the Newtralizer in which he doesn't wear a full body suit like Mona Lisa, and instead just has gear strapped to himself. I can see that there's glass covering that part, and inside I see brown, green, pink, light blue and some sort of machine that lays behind the 'ribs'. To me it looks like he has a mechanical organ and colourful guts.

I dunno, it makes no sense to have exposed organs, and what's under the blue part and "ribs" looks like his actual body. Maybe it's part of the inside of the suit? Padding and support "ribs" exposed, instead of his actual insides, which would really be a dumb thing to leave open, for many reasons. If it IS his insides, how is he even still alive? He'd be vulnerable to infections and injury from even simple bumps to the area, and that's just for starters! Not to mention having that "bullseye" right there on his suit.... And I didn't see any glass on it, either.

As I was watching the character model spin around, once his 'ribs' are out of view, you can see what looks to be spherical glass protruding from the body. I could be wrong but that's what it looks like to me if you keep your eye on it and look closely.

Yeah, I agree it doesn't make any sense why he would leave it like that instead of properly fixing a gaping hole in his side, which is why I'm not really on board with that particular aspect of his design, if it is indeed his insides. The glass protects it, but it still seems like a weird choice for someone in his position to have.

As for the glass you have to look really closely when he's turning in that gif. Edit: just like srmff said. You can see it against the background but otherwise it's nearly invisible. Or here you can see it a bit better on his left. It's glass like his helmet.

That cross over excites me. I would love to see Donatello and Casey meet classic April and see Nick April's reaction to theirs. Perfect gag moment like when see their classic version through that kraang portal. Also Casey meeting Casey, would be sweet.

Do you suppose the cross over will at least produce a Krang toy figure or even a techonodrome?

Attack of the krangazoids or something like that. And it wasn't his race it was when he cloned himself and they turned into weird Dino things.

We never saw Krang race. Only a flashback where he tells his story. It seems like that his race was destroyed and he was the only one left because we didnt saw any other brain like creaturss in dimension x. In IDW he is one of the few Utroms that survived after they planet got destroyed but in 80 cartoon there are no other Utrom he is the only one.

I can only recall Season 3, Episode 16 Four Musketurtles as the one showing Krang along with other Krangs as the brains in the walker, but it was also just a flashback scene.

But in Season 7, Episode 12 Invasion of the Krangazoids, Krang's clones further changes from the disembodied brain to a full bipedal form.

There's also a sketch of a toy design by Murphy and Berger showing a full bodied Krang dubbed "Krang's Gross Dimension X's Body"

I remember Ciro saying he had cried a couple of times during production of that episodes because he had to see that moment over and over again. However I never heard them stating that over the panel video.

But my guess is that if this is true, Splinter would more then likely brought back to life just to die at the hands of the Shredder once again.

True. But, remember, we didn't see everything. They could've said ot after the episode, perhaps. Or questions after the panel. All in all, I don't think that article would be still up if it was false information. I actually think it would be FANTASTIC if Splinter stayed dead. It would really, really put things on a whole new level. After all, Ciro said that's what he originally wanted.

Wonder how it would effect each one of the boys? Of course they'll grieve but...how, y'know? To what extent?

The flashback ep is the one I can't recall the name of. Anyway, the other one was that Krangazoid ep where Krang cloned himself.

I think for right now, I'd call b.s. on it, because frankly, if Splinter was gone, why was Hoon Lee a part of the panels? Was it just for a fond farewell? Cause that would be strange.

I think they said he died, because well...he did die. But they won't explain the specific way they will go back in time to bring him back.

They can still keep Splinter around. They could always do flashbacks. We're supposed to get that ep about Raph's plastron crack...I'll assume this happened with Splinter around. Maybe they'll flashback to that. Also, isn't Hoon Lee doing a lot of stage work? It'd be a good way to have him focus on that if they keep Splinter's character dead...more freedom for the voice actor.
