The episode was dedicated to McKaylee Belle Grampp, the 3-year-old daughter of Eddie Grampp (a computer animator at Nickelodeon), who died in a car accident on August 12, 2015.

But you made your point, people disagree because there are some that can- by just the position of the sun- tell time- a lot in fact- and I'm sure he's not the only guy that could tell what time period it is by the position of the Earth. Quite possibly he could've been able to tell the season- Spring or Summer, Winter or Fall- and estimated by that.
In short, we don't know how our purple clad genius found that out, but getting this flustered over it? It's not that big of a deal, now is it?

Some people really do take this show too seriously. Good to know there's some some that don't.

I really hope we find out more about Honeycutt's past and if he is a fugitive or not. David Tennant did and a awesome job, can't wait to hear more!

Nevermind that the second picture gets the moon phase right - waning crescent - but the first one somehow shows a new moon.

You can't use "Donatello is really smart" to explain every distortion of logic the show makes. He's more a caricature of autism at this point, and that's not good writing, either.

Just a quick question...if you were a seven-year-old kid, would you have noticed or cared? More than likely, no. Remember, the show is aimed at kids, not adults.

Yeah, but they didn't mean to. Mikey destroyed the cakes because they were attacking him and April accidentally broke that crystal. The only ones who purposely did anything were Raph and Casey.

And thanks for the info on the dedication. I thought it was someone who worked on the show, but it's sweet that they dedicated it to the daughter of one of the animators. Still sucks that she died though.

The season premiere was just okay at best IMO. I may not have watched this series as long as others, but I do fell like this program is starting to run its course a little bit. However, I will continue to watch it because I am very much looking forward to the big 1987 series crossover.
