So Abrams told Conan that he got the word "jub-jub" in the movie as a gag/favor to Conan. Did anyone catch it? I didn't.

I wouldn't wanna think of Abrams as a dirty filthy liar.

Well pretty much anything would be better-written than the Prequels. Those movies were all endless exposition and set-up with very little payoff.

As for Empire, I'unno. That's a loaded question. I'm not really in a comparative mood, too busy liking this one for what it is to try and hold it up against other things.

Just read that Frank Oz, Ewan MacGregor and, believe it or not, Alec Guiness lent their voices to TFA.

Abrams playfully "denies" Daniel Craig's cameo.

Finally caught this, this afternoon.
So worth the price of admission. Can't wait to see it again, and to get the next chapter.

Certainly going to go make it a priority to catch "Attack the Block" sometime soon.

I usually only see the movies once, just watching it a second time you already know what happens, to me its always the first viewing that's special, even if the movie is that good, I wouldn't watch it again, I'll wait for the blu-ray, and watch all the BTS stuff.

I've always noticed that the first time you see a movie is all emotional, the second viewing is the analytical.

I can't tell you how many times I didn't like something the first time, then realized after a second or third time that I simply didn't Get It the first time and was glad I gave it a second chance; some of those movies become my favorites. Likewise, there's been a ton of times I was suckered in by Opening Night Hype and fell for a movie that, upon re-watching, didn't hold up at all and was actually pretty crummy.

I don't get how some people are like, "I've seen it once, I've seen it all." Frankly that's not even possible. Further, if you liked something once, the only reason I can see not to experience it again, if you like it so much, is because of fear that maybe it really isn't very good after all and you're afraid of having to change your mind, which is silly. I mean I've had some movie debates with people, who were willing to go to war over a movie they only saw one time, and I'm not even going to get involved in the discussion if I know that going in.

I'unno. I really don't think you can experience ANYthing only once and have enough information to form a solid opinion on it. I mean everything deserves at least one extra look. And if I like a movie, I could probably watch it every day and not get bored of it, if it's actually that good in the first place. ((shrug))

It's not whether a movie is good or bad, its from an entertainment standpoint, now that i seen it, I can't wait for the next one, I don't have to watch it again.

When I get the blu-ray, I can watch the movie again with the commentary and then the special features.

I like the movies a lot, But not to watch them again and again, but I like owning them, so if anyone in the family wants to watch it, I could put it on for them.

I agree with this statement and I fall into this with The Force Awakens. The bit with Han I will have to accept as apart of the larger plan, but in the film itself I ask myself, "is it necessary" and I wanted to see Luke and we get thirty seconds and no lines. It hurts my appreciation for it, but it makes me want to see more and I think I will appreciate it more down the road. I am going again tomorrow night for the analytical viewing.

Also, stop the Cubed tags. It was funny at first, but its beating a dead horse at this point.

So I've seen it twice now. I liked it the first time but liked it more the second time around.

I honestly cannot see how people can think Han's death scene was "forced" (very funny). It was tragic, emotional, powerful and extremely well done.

To all those who thought the plot was very similar to A New Hope, it was originally planned to be pretty much exactly the same.

"Early on I tried to write versions of the story where [Rey] is at home, her home is destroyed, and then she goes on the road and meets Luke. And then she goes and kicks the bad guy’s ass. It just never worked and I struggled with this. This was back in 2012.”

“It just felt like every time Luke came in and entered the movie, he just took it over. Suddenly you didn’t care about your main character anymore because, ‘Oh f–k, Luke Skywalker’s here. I want to see what he’s going to do."

- Michael Arndt, EW interview.
