Looks like it's wave 1 figures with battle shell feet.

I watched a review on YouTube about the TMNT 2 Kraang figure and the one reviewing the figure said that the alien couldn't fit inside the body. This was due to the multiple tentacles it had. Also, he said that one of the tentacles ripped off, even though he didn't gave the rubbery brain that much pressure on it. DVD, do you have a Kraang figure to show us? Also, has yours had any tentacles falling off?

In a video I watched, the Krang's eye rubbed off extremely easily.

Hey DVD, where are you? Also, has anyone else seen the upcoming April figure for Out Of The Shadows? She comes in some new pics outfit for some reason. Like, she's wearing blue, only blue.

Looks like she comes with an mutagen canister which is a nice touch, no word on a release I'm guessing probably wave 2 with the costume turtles

Sweet! I'm glad we are getting another April because the April from the first movie was pretty bad looking, IMO. And of course I want an April with my Out of the Shadows figures to pose on the eventual Technodrome pick up!

Indeed. Nice touch!

Wave 1 are my favorites, my only issue with the first wave was the inaccurate sculpt of the feet (and to some extent the rounded knee & shoulder pads).

Isn't this new one just a repaint of that same April from the first movie?

Actually, yes it is and looking back at pics I had the terrible boot leg April image in my head lol My bad! Been a spell since I saw the movie April in the wild. I do like this repaint better either way though. Maybe it's the ooze?

Sadly, I suspect she'll look every bit as lackluster as the first one, in-hand.

...but I'd love to be wrong!

I'm pretty certain she'll be terrible. It's why I use Walking Dead figures in my Movie-inspired verse.

Is not actually because it has a different sculpt compared to the first one. Like this figure has April with a jacket tied around her waist.

Same head- totally different body.
Not sure when it is being issued yet.

In mean time, this is how I ended up displaying the Ooze Turtles.

Unfortunately these do not come with bases. A slight oversight methinks. Otherwise, I'm an instant fan of the packaging and accessories - especially since they are actually painted up.
I'm very happy with these guys. I know tho, that some hate em.

Just in case it's not obvious... The Turtles out of packaging are the first set from movie 1.

I'm not usually an advocate for keeping toys packaged, but that looks pretty awesome.

Part of me still regrets not nabbing those initial movie figures and having someone repaint 'em. But I don't like to pay $20 for a figure that I then need to pay someone to paint.

Still, that's a sweet display, man.

I always like to imagine DVD wearing a trench coat and a fedora in a rainy alley in Shanghai and a guy comes up and says "you got the money?" And then he would say "yeah I got the money, you got the stuff?" And then he opens the package and inspects the merchandise and he just gives a single nod of approval. They both state their mutual denial that the event ever took place and just like that they are gone. But then again I watch too many movies. They probably just come in the mail or something

Of course because of his awesome collection I also assume he lives a James Bond type-existence where he dates a different super model each night so I may not exactly live in reality. Don't mind me.

Edit: after discussing with my girlfriend it has come to my attention that the bigger your TMNT collection the less chance of dating an endless supply of super models. Who knew right?
