Is it possible that the turtles, April and Casey are going to meet their past selves and stop Shredder from killing Splinter?

This episode was great! Loved it! Poor Mikey, but I like that the reason he got nearly killed was because he was saving someone else. He saved April and Casey and even Raph. I'm so loving both Mikey and Raph this season. Raph was so so so adorable this episode! I love seeing his sensitive and soft side.
Now as for Dregg...is he um dead? That aside, this would be one of my favs this season, along with last episode where Mona Lisa betrayed the turtles, the ep where they found that crystal because everyone was angry and stuff and Fugitoid threatened to slap them ( |

Tokka a female fire breathing space guardian? This is my issue with the Nicktoon using classic names for mostly unrelated concepts. Chompy? It reminded me of the pet dinosaur from Turtles In Time. I do wonder if it was inspired in any way.
I appreciate the arc for what it was, but is it like the Northampton farmhouse arc in that it was too extensive? Would it have worked better as something like 6 episodes?

Uh what? Tokka was a turtle (or gamera). How is it unrelated? Just because its not a regular small mutant doesn't mean its not the character.

well let's see...one of the main points of going back in time is to not let anyone one see you...least of all yourselves. So in a high-stress situation when you encounter yourselves from the future. You aren't going to automatically think they have something important to tell you. You are going to think they must be something invented by the Kraang or the Triceratons. |

Pretty good episode! Raph finally has a new turtle to make up for Slash.
I was shocked by Leo's comment of not wanting to return the baby turtle to his mother like April suggested. As well as his concern about earth instead of Tokka. It felt a little out of character, let alone hurtful to me (and Raph). Not too bothered of how they made Tokka in this version but chances of teaming up with Rahzar are slim to none (which I'm fine with). I hope it's okay. Would you guys say best version of Tokka or nah?

Hm, thinking about it, if Tokka can grow so big, does that mean Chompy will too?

Yeah, if anything it's an even bigger alteration to the character.

The mutated Hun-Turte in Turtles Forever isn't Tokka... Tokka appears briely in the army of the Shredder.
Besides: I find it interesting, that Slash in his original appereance is a turtle-like alien, and Tokka is a mutated snapping turtle. In the new appereances it's twisted around: Slash is a mutated snapping turtle (both in the IDW comics and the Nick show) and Tokka is the turtle-like alien...

Oh, I see! This "Hunce Lee".. Yeah, that was kinda odd... But there were at least some common points: both leaders of the Purple Dragons and both from unbeatable strength.

Funny enough, he made an appearance in the kids comic recently & was mistakenly colored (a far too frequent occurrence, it's riddled with errors) with black hair. It was literally just Bruce Lee.

Great episode, love Tokka's redesign. That's one serious upgrade.
Chompy Picasso is so cute. ^_^ I hope so, that'd be awesome.

Crazy suggestion but what if, Chompy ends up becoming Tokka.
Hear me out. I read somewhere that Tokka is a He and a She. Renet is going to be showing up again this season and maybe she helps the turtles to restore Earth in a time loop way. As in, they see Earth being destroyed and shoot off with Fugitoid to begin their space journey to stop it from happening, but at the same time, their future future selves bring Earth back WHILE they're searching for the black hole pieces. Because they've got their past selves on earth and their current selves in space, so they could have another future set of turtles as well. Think of it like Marty McFly in the second Back To The Future goes to 1965, but he's already there when he originally travelled from 1985. And to complete the time loop Chompy grows at an accelerated speed (he's pretty small now, so he'd have to grow very quickly to reach Tokka's size right?) to take Tokka's place guarding the black hole fragment? Hence Tokka (female) lays the egg, which hatches into Chompy (male). Chompy grows and takes Tokka's place, and essentially becomes Tokka, ready to defend the black hole piece when the triceratons show up. There could even be a sex change along the way like in Jurassic Park when they switch gender. Or maybe I'm reading too much into it.

I do wonder why Chompy's egg was so incredibly tiny compared to Tokka, though. And how Tokka even built his nest. The mental image of Tokka delicately stacking tiny little sticks into it is great, though.
Personally, I like to think that Tokka and Chompy aren't related, but are species that live in a symbiotic relationship and just happen to look similar. Tokka gives tiny space turtles a place to for shelter on her back, and the Chompies eat parasites and any other nasties that might be running around with them. The alertness to one another might not be a maternal one, but still instinctive. The assumption that he's Tokka's baby is probably just the mammal side of their brains kicking in with the cute baby hatching all by itself. Clearly, he does/did have parents because of the nest, but I highly doubt Tokka built it.
