I suppose Nick will bring back Karai soon, but I'm guessing the City at War will be between Foot Robots tracking her down and mutants battling the Foot.

Yeah the Mirage version was more violent so most of the stuff from the comic arn't going to happen in the Nick show.

The gangs blow up a sex shop and the turtles investigate it.
The Turtles killing some Foot soldiers so Karia can become the leader or something
Splinter getting trapped, starving to death, gets tormented by the spirit of Rat King and Splinter ends up eating rats to survive
Casey leaving, meeting a pregnant woman, they get married, she dies from childbirth and he adopts the baby.

Wow! that's pretty dark, the 2003 series did an adaption of "City At War", and it was nothing as you described.

Yeah the 2003 version just gangs fighting each other. It also involved Leo and Raph arguing. Leo wants to stop the gangs and Raph didn't want to get involved. Karai making her debut and trying to take control of the Foot Clan with the turtles help.

I guess the Nick version will be a bit similar 2K3 but as there own version as Shredder is alive but injured and we don't know what state Karai is in. I think that Gwendolin Yeo's character could make her debut and be involved.

Yeah, like with the 4Kids adaptation, this probably just going to be a gang war. Except probably even a little worse, given the lack of animation models and set pieces.

Big chunks of the original story involve April hanging out with Robyn after their dad dies, Casey getting married to pregnant woman and Splinter spending time with Rat King (or his ghost, I guess?). There's no way any of that is going to make into this show, Robyn can't really exist and Casey is too young to do any of that stuff, not to mention the fact that the network would think it's too depressing...

I do. But I'm at work and my copy is at home on the bookshelf. And I don't remember what exactly happens in issue 10, I was just curious if anyone did.

They could change the shop and there could be Foot Bots. I can see the Rat King thing happening as we haven't seen him in some time. The pregnant woman thing though, that's a bit weird for a minor to marry someone and raise a baby.

Maybe the child is Chloe and the Turtles, April, and Casey look after her until she can be returned to her parents.

I'd say her mommy and daddy should be killed in the event, but that seems a little too dark for nick. But temporarily keeping her safe until they are able to reunite her with her family could work. Particularly with the humans vs. mutants plot line that will be following city at war. After all, with the exception of AE. every appearance she's made following her debut in Slash and Destroy she has been standing in one place and crying.

Rat King hasn't appeared in this show since Season 2, right? It would be nice to see him again, I love his design and voice in the Nick show.

City at War was a 13 part story. This is gonna be a 22 minute romp with a few references. Highly doubt we'll see RK here since his and Splinter's story literally had nothing to do with the titular "city at war".

Or there might be a Rat King vs. Rockwell fight.

Also, I think Gwendoline Yeo's character could be someone that Karai knew from her childhood.

People talk about how Fred Wolf influenced the show is, but really the only characters and arcs they ever faithfully adapt is the Mirage stuff. They could pull it off if they wanted to. They'd certainly make it better than that cheese fest the 4kids show called CaW.

Yeah I have a feeling it could be a 2 parter as we didn't get a 2 part mid season final this time.
