From “Live! with Kelly and Michael” today.

Next up was New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony, who didn’t mention Strahan’s situation [his last episode] – choosing instead to focus on his role in the upcoming Puerto Rican Day Parade and upcoming role in a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film.

Anyone catch it? Curious what this "role" is.

Naturally it's this uninteresting stuff that trailers won't spoil.

in short, they didnt want to be bothered. and do I agree with you that the producers, and writers for that matter, dont really understand the material as strongly as they should; its clear they are drawing inspiration from the most popular iteration, but not much else.

I'm 100% sure you're right, actually. Based on what we know about these movies, that level of laziness and/or lack of care makes total sense. These writers and producers seem to avoid putting effort into the story as much as possible.

no it doesn't. I can easily suspend my disbelief when it comes to what a substance from a fictional alien dimension is capable of. But when you tell me every different human on the planet has dormant and different animal DNA in their genetic code. You don't have to be a scientist to know that's hilariously ridiculous

I dont really think there is anything to talk about. Per the trailers, and set photos etc, Vern is being honored at a gala for 'saving the city' in the last film. And because he is being honored in NYC, all the big names are coming out. Im willing to bet the basketball players will be seen for seconds at best, and maybe they do a joke where one of them gives Vern a congratulatory 'pound' because he's now dating a model.

Probably right. Though wasn't the first footage ever shot for this, early before the rest started filming, some scene at a basketball game?

The camera work isn't great as he's doing it on his phone.

At the moment the guy on periscope is playing the new video game in the turtles lair.

There are some other people there playing basketball.

You know, we are 3 weeks away from the official release, and we haven't heard anything about the film score, When the 1st one came out, We heard bits of the score a few weeks before it was released.

so I hope we can hear a preview of the new score, I'm curious to hear what Steve Jablonsky's score will be like.

Good point. I may not be crazy about this movie but I am curious what this orchestra soundtrack will sound like. Track titles might also reveal a bit more about the events that take place in the movie.

and Steve Jablonsky is a way better composer then Brian Tyler, as for the track titles, they don't usually reveal actual plots of the movie, cause they are careful at not putting titles that would be spoilers.

I don't necessarily mean spoilers but the over all flow of events in the movie and yes, Jablonsky is a solid composer.

Usually the track titles would reveal an action scene of some sort, I wouldn't be surprise if one track is called The Technodrome.

Jablonsky actually puts effort and time into his scores while all of Tylers scores are just generic action fluff.

Steve Jablonsky is pretty good with the melodies, Listen to his scores from the Transformers movies.

I really hope he incorporated the classic theme in the score somewhere.
