Three is flawed because it took a short story and tried to make it into a feature length film. Ever read this issue?



You'll notice a lot of similarities in the narrative down to even Mikey not getting the girl in the end when he obviously had a crush on her. The added part which was made by the studio is Walker and the English settlers either leave them out or just go with Savanti and Renet (Time scepter looked like it anyway.) I like we strayed away from Shredder the movie didn't need him a 3rd time but we could've had a reference to an ancestor like that scroll which didn't matter in the grand scheme of things. On that note of ancestors, why was the name drop of Yoshi in this movie? It was a neat thing that Raph was the one trying to channel his anger being that blind rage is why Yoshi ended up being kicked out of the Foot.

Leo and Don did nothing in this film which is fine the first movie focused on Leo and SOTO Don. This movie didn't portray Mikey as an idiot for jokes SOTO did so that alone bumps it up even though this movie has many problems. I do enjoy the focus being on Mikey the moments with him are good enough to bump it up from SOTO.

I've never read that book. I'll have to check it out. I think the first two movies focused on Raph more than any other turtle, but I can see how 2 focused on Donnie a little. At least more than any other movie.

Here is my list from the best to the worst :

- 1990 : the best turtles movie ever made. I really love the emotional parts, and Casey Jones, and Raph and... damn I love the whole freakin' movie.
-2014 : don't fool me, I only like the few turtles parts of it. The rest is total garbage.
-2007 : I find it ok, but I'm bored that Shredder isn't the antagonist (WTF with this Lord of the rings like story ?). I love the fight between Leo and Raph though.
- SOTO : I hate the humor, Razhar and Tokka, Super Shredder and this f*cking Ninja Rap scene !
- TMNT 3 : What the hell is that thing ???

Prevision : TMNT Out of the shadows might take a place right after the 1990 movie in my list.
From all the trailers and TV spots I saw (and from what sethmartin told us), it looks really amazing and entertaining. Plus I really love Bay turtles.

I am about to leave to go see TMNT 2

This was my review of the last movie as when I first saw it I was excited.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 8/10

I loved this movie it was amazing, I didn't want it to end.

Not as good as the original 1990 movie but it was still really good.

Positives

The action and fight scenes
The Turtles Personalities were spot on
Loved Mikey in this
The voice acting, Noel Fisher nailed it at voicing Mikey
Had some great comedy moments.
The Turtle Tots, so adorable
Splinter was such a badass, his fight with Shredder was awesome. I actually got feels when Shredder defeated him.
The Snow Chase scene was amazing
Loved the rooftop fight
I had tears in my eyes when Raph was pouring his heart out when they were falling.

The Negatives

The Storyline
It should have been longer, 101 minutes was too short
It felt rushed towards the end
Should have been more darker but in the end it was a movie for kids
Should have been out sooner 2 months later was a joke.

I'm going to see this movie again next week.

I can't wait for the sequel, hopefully it will be even better.

Since I've seen the movie a few times now, it isn't as good i've dumbed it down to 6.5 because of the lack of turtles in this movie. When I do watch the movie, I skip some scenes that involves Megan Fox.

Well it has those 3-pronged classic technodrome cannons, In recent trailers, it has been updated to look more metal plate-y than rocky, and we have confirmation the eyeball is there.
