Sure if studios got 100% of the box office.

The Hollywood Reporter said SS needed to reach $750-$800 million to break even. It'll be tough to reach that without China.

To me the most interesting one is this:

"Joker and Harley get into an argument after he rescues her in the hijacked helicopter. In early cuts he reportedly pushes her out to kill her, then the helicopter gets shot down. This was apparently reworked into the helicopter getting shot down first and Joker pushing her out to save her."

I think it's really interesting how some clever editing can completely change the context of a shot like that.

There was actually a drop-off on Saturday. And with China and Mexico on the fence, the immediate results should not be the concern.

Be ready to eat crow by release's end.

'Trick, I like you, but I don't think these overeactions are helping your cause, I know how much your enjoyment of the movie meant to you, that you want to defend your good time and encourage others to have a positive experience, but we have the right to vent too. I reacted the way I did because someone told critics of the film to go "eat s*it". Someone on your side of the fence said that, how is that any better?

We don't "obsess" about the movie's downs as much as you guys do about the movie's ups. This is why DC fans are generating a bad rep, they seem unable to detatch themselves from the passion over what is really a movie they would'nt really consider watching twice if it did'nt have a bunch of comic book characters in it, or if the long-term future of an alternative to Marvel were riding high on whenever or not it does well (and let's face it, we still have Wondy and JL in the pipepline to determine that). I'd sooner watch interesting failures like BVS than something like this which had absolutely nothing to say.

I respect your passion, but don't be so defensive. It's only a movie.

And Dc fans are angry with critics because we enjoy the movies. We like them. So when critics give it bad reviews that are blown out of proportion, our only response is to do the same.
