Coola, what on earth does this have to do with anything? The original run of Tales of the TMNT took place roughly at the same time as early Volume 1 was going on. The second Volume took place all over Mirage continuity. They're still all canon and pat of the series.

As for the Nick cartoon, the stories are obviously a continuation of what came before. I don't see where the confusion is.

Considering how Tiger Claw seems to want to bring Shredder back, it might still need a little more structure.

Then there's the stuff going down with the EPF and Utrom High Council, potentially ending the stuff with the Kraang. ("Look, we know you're trying to escape the Triceratons, but you guys gotta chill.") I think I've seen something about Gilbert Gottfried returning in Season 5, and we'll probably learn Knight's full history.

Well now with the news of a new show confirmed for 2018, it's obvious Season 5 is indeed the final season.

This is the saddest day of my life since the 2k3 series ended in 2009, and since the original cartoon ended in 1996. Everytime a TMNT cartoon ends I feel like a little part of me dies. I can't believe the Nick cartoon turned out to be the shortest lived TMNT series, I at least expected it to go on as long as 2k3.

Now they have to distribute 20 episodes so that the show ends later this year (probably between october-december), as they said on the social media. I hope we don't get many hiatus

My guess is the new show will start around March 2018 or something like that.

So they should easily be able to air the last 20 episodes between March of this year and December.

It says the new show starts in the fall next year, so it's either September, October or November.

Oh the Fall? That's longer than I thought. Still I assume they'll finish airing all of Season 5 by the end of this year.

Really hope they do finish the series this year. That said I wouldn't put it past Nick to drag it out till next spring after what they did this season. Guess it just depends how much they want to drag it out (didn't Playmates say something about the monster themed arc airing around Halloween at Toy Fair?) and how big a gap they want before the new series.

Hopefully Season 5 will go off in a bang, and give proper closure to several of the characters we haven't heard from since Season 1 and 2.

Donnie was able to make Retromutagen that turned Baxter Stockman back to a human, So maybe he will make some more to turn Mutagen Man back to human also.

Wonder if each arc will have different music and pics since this is the last season and they keep saying they're going out with a bang. This music snippet sounds vastly different from the other they posted recently. Also, are we getting 20 episodes rather than 26? My screen reader read me a post with the words false alarm in it yesterday, but I wasn't able to see the pic.
