It's now ahead of Ironman one in domestic BO, and is also now the second most successful debut of a comic book movie, domestic as well.

I’m aware of how old this thread is, but…
F*** it. I love GOTG. This movie came out during the golden years of the MCU before it all turned to crap. Everything about GOTG was awesome. The writing, the humor, the graphics, Chris Pratt- oops. Did I just say that part out loud? Oh well.  I also love Vol. 2, equally as awesome as the first one. “Taserface!”

It's OK. I enjoy large bits of it. It works as a story. I don't love either one.
