Honestly? I love it. What a fun little scene. The voice acting is great, it makes their interaction feel completely natural.

If they can combine this sort of character interaction with fun action scenes, I'm sold.

I was trying to be kinda gentle in regards to this movie "casting real teens!" since they're just kids, but after the anti-police so-called "sh*itpost" that got quickly locked on Reddit, I think I've changed my mind. You know, most of us with an employer are expected maintain a particular standard as far as we go as someone who is a representative of a company to some degree... Did no one talk to those kids about what is okay regarding that crap?? Because it seems at least one of them doesn't understand that it needs to be broadly promoted to all ages and demographics, not just 15-year-olds who still lack all foresight, are only capable of generalized black and white thinking because their brains aren't fully developed, and can't yet see how cringy that kind of stupid teen BS really is until they're older.

We all did our version of that crap at one time, but the internet has really made it worse. A chunk of Gen Z is someday going to look back and cringe so hard that their faces will crack...

Edit: If they're keeping those kids on for the supposed series it would do him good to learn from the Jason Biggs situation with 2012.

The CG in TMNT 2007 has aged poorly. In general, everything about IMAGI felt kind of amateurish which is also why they couldn't manage to market their film properly.

Well, considering that the voice actress for April is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, this actually doesn’t surprise me. They really did pick the most leftist of lefties to voice the characters.

I'm also seeing a lot of holier than thou stuff from their little videos. "I'm Leonardo!" I know you people treat voice actors like gods around here, but no, he isn't. He sat in a chair and talked into a mic for a couple of days.

Trying to force your perspectives on a character you were cast for based on your voice (not because you relate to them!) is ignorant.

I think casting actual real life teens as the Turtles was a mistake. The kid who voices Donatello is going to have his voice deepen/crack literally in 1 year, so if this has any type of follow up Donatello will already sound different.

Damn, I just saw what that little sh*t posted. These Gen Z kids are so illogical. Thank goodness nothing they say is a reflection on the actual character of Leonardo or any of the Turtles, seeing as how this little dumphole won't ever be known as the final or best Leonardo voice actor.

Honestly, I'm surprised at all the weed hate here. Weed's a beautiful thing. Just don't tell the world you smoke everyday, while on national TV interviews and in pretty much every interview you give, and you'll be fine.
