Not at all. I’ve ranted about it before, but basically none of it makes any sense. Kraang Prime’s name was Kraang before he was mutated. So clearly he was conceptualized as FW Krang’s dimensional counterpart, not his “cousin”. Although I guess you could argue it’s the English equivalent of Sean vs. Shawn. But there’s still a bunch of other parallels.
It also ignores all of the FW lore around the rock soldiers and the Neutrinos. Speaking of which, if there’s only one Dimension X… why is there 87 and 2012 versions of Traag, Granitor, and the Neutrinos? A couple fans have laid out some very thoughtful mental gymnastics to make it work, but I don’t buy it. |

Yeah, I really don't know why anyone even bothers attempting to fit the 2012/FW crossovers into FW continuity proper. The FW show itself might have a poor sense of continuity but I'm pretty damn sure none of it is as bad as trying to claim all Dimension X aspects were completely different.
I really do maintain that the best way of looking at it is to assume we are not seeing the FW characters in the crossover, but just reflections of them. |

Here is what Sophie Campbell said about Ninjara "She's from another dimension where there are no humans or mutants, she lives in a swamp, her soul is trapped in her tail, and she is magically forced to obey an evil sorcerer. The covers that have been released so far are a little misleading, in fact she is not a Nexus fighter, but a bodyguard for the tournament organizer."

They even listed TMNT 1990 movie characters as same versions from TMNT 2007 movie, that might not be accurate , do you also think so? |

Seems like a fairly bizzare concept, plus a pretty far departure from Archie Ninjara. Definitely gonna check it out though.
I personally consider the 90’s trilogy to be a different continuity from 2007. But some people disagree. Last edited by ToTheNines; 07-27-2025 at 02:34 PM. |

I know the Transformers Wiki has the concept of "continuity family", which is implemented under the premise that the Transformers series has so many different continuities and diverging/converging continuities that making a new page for every single version of a character wouldn't make sense and would render the wiki unreadable. And in some ways that makes sense, the anime Headmasters and the fourth season of the original Transformer cartoon are clearly contradictory yet both are continuations of the first three seasons, so it doesn't necessarily make sense to make different wiki pages of the characters even if they would technically be two different iterations of said characters. Thus "continuity family", and I guess it also made sense when they put the original cartoon and the Marvel Comic as they sorta started with the same plot... Kinda... But then they also list the Dreamwave, IDW, various manga and Skybound continuities in that same "continuity family". As a result the wiki page for a character like "G1" Optimus Prime turns into a laughable mess of alternate reality versions that vary from being basically the same as another version of the character described on the same page, to having virtually nothing in common with any other version aside from a handful of details. Honestly, I think the TFwiki editors have the right idea to acknowledge divergent continuities but really need to rethink their priorities in how to structure the pages and maybe hack these "continuity families up a bit". |

Hell, the ending of TMNT where they were implying the soon resurrection of the Shredder easily connects to the Last Ronin film if they plan to make it a legacy sequel to the live action

Yeah, it's "The Long Awaited Return of Ninjara!!" in a multiversal adventure where... it's not the existing Ninjara from the Archie universe, but a new one. With a radically different look, backstory and mission statement.

I still need to know if this is canon to IDW or another random crossover comic like He-man, Batman, Power Rangers, Naruto, Street Fighter, etc. My interest will wane if it's not canon and just another random book.
