Nope. Tigersharks bonus pack sold out over the weekend when it first dropped.

This wave is slow.

Probably because they announced it on Amazon before the Super7 store and BBTS. I preordered April and Hun on Amazon.

Let's be real - most people don't want to drop $150 on a motorcycle just to get some alternate heads. I mean, it's TMNT - how many random motorcycles do we have at this point? Add in the crazy price jump on Hun, and the fact that the 2k3 turtles plummeted in price upon release, this seems like the perfect storm.

This whole thing is giving me some bad vibes - like is it another Power Rangers wave 4 situation?

Holy ****! I have zero interest in 03 Turtles so I never checked the pricing. $150 is nutty for that awful looking motorcycle..

Foot soldier currently 10 percent off on Amazon. I’m still gonna wait.

20 days later and they're down to 266. Another Raph was a poor choice of figure, but that bike has to be killing this bundle. The figures are already a poor a value, but that bike is a REALLY poor value and (I assume) something most people don't want anyway.

Raph really could have been an accessory pack, like give us the bike with a softgoods leather jacket, the helmeted heads and the bonus accessories.

I just wish the 2k3 line went deeper, like give us Agent Bishop or a Foot Tech Ninja instead of turtle variants - or some crazy Baxter Stockman with alternate heads/hands.

======

Also, I've been playing around with my full display of vintage inspired figures and I can't believe they changed the color of Rappin' Mike's skintone. Like we finally got a serious head sculpt for him... and it's the wrong color!

Man, one variant I’ve dreamed of ever since I was a kid was a monochrome/translucent Foot Tech ninja, mimicking their “invisible” mode. That would be so cool and a cheap figure to produce, I would imagine. Zero paint application required. I would buy two, probably.

Do they not do their timed pre-order windows anymore? I feel like these have been up longer than usual.

Good lord, these aren't moving. 256 super packs remaining.

But the timed windows seem to have disappeared. Like you can still preorder TigerSharks wave 1.

I hope this is a wake up call to try and dip their toes back into the 87 inspired figures. At this rate, these may get cancelled like past Super7 preorders that did not sell well.

I don't think the decision to pivot to a different series was something they completely wanted to do. Despite Flynn's constant deflection, it seems pretty clear that the truth is that Playmates kept pressuring Paramount to advise Super7 not to step on their toes anymore. And to be completely honest, I'm feeling like Mattel might end up being stricter about this stuff than Playmates ever was, but only time will tell.

Personally, since 2003 has always been "my Turtles", I'm actually rather sad to see these figures doing poorly. But I, too, would like to see a return to the previous series of figures, if only because I hate that the Music Turtles are incomplete without Heavy Metal Raph.

Seems purely self inflicted. I heard Kyle say on a podcast that the 4 turtles sold really well and the second wave did about as well. There’s no reason this current wave couldn’t have features Karai, Bishop, or Baxter.

Hun was good choice but the price point is criminal. That bike is outrageous and literally no one asked for it. That Raph variant is cringe and also no one asked for it. There’s like 50+ screen accurate turtle variants they could have pulled from that would have been wiser decisions.

The new markup in general is too much. I have no complaints about their April, but she’s like $80 after taxes and shipping. That’s crazy.

It really seems like the license is getting locked down HARD. I haven’t seen a single solicit from anyone for 2027. Allegedly this wave is coming out in five months, which seems absurdly fast for Super7 given every other wave takes like 350-400 days from solicit to arrival historically.

Same with NECA, everything is Q4-2026. Mondo’s Leo is December 2026. Mezco movie turtles are September, Splinter is October.

Add in the rumors swirling around JoyToys, it really looks like Mattel isn’t letting anyone else make stuff. Curious about Mondo though since they already have a relationship.

So Mattel is blocking all the major TMNT companies (e.g. NECA, Super7, Mondo etc.) so they can focus on Teeny Mutant Ninja Turtles toys? Seems legit.

Damn. I’ll mostly mourn the 2012 and Archie NECA lines at this point.

However, we’re completely in the dark here. There’s crazy legal nonsense going on that we’re not privy to. It might be that no one is even allowed to talk to Mattel until a certain date. Or they’re in negotiations and we’ll see certain lines continue once that’s all settled. We’ll have to wait and see.

Important to note that that's after 100 of them disappeared overnight in mid-May.
