If reviews are good I'll watch it for free when the season is done on the illegal streaming websites. At this point my time is more valuable than money, I'd rather be watching prestige television than watching slop.

The WB bots/FAKE paid accounts are in force all over social media about this, too. If you say anything bad about the costume they come at you like locusts. And they've all got the same party line responses: "It's based on the Earth-1 Green Lantern costume, duh!! Some fan you are!!"
And I'm like, I've owned the #1 Green Lantern fansite out there for 20 years and the message board with it and I've never encountered even ONE guy who sang any praises of that book or costume. That crap came out years ago and NOBODY liked it. And then you just get the same sort of, "Nobody ASKED YOU!" / "Don't like, don't watch!" automatic answers back at that point. 100% fake accounts/bots. Try it sometime and see. |

Also, a bit of an odd note. In the trailer Hal mentions to John that he's the only human in the Green Lantern Corps... but we already saw Guy Gardner was a member in Superman. And we know Guy Gardner will show up in at least one episode of this show.
Is this show set years before Superman?

Costume still looks like poo. And Green Lanterns don't need to create shields to block bullets... the costume/ring automatically protects against that.
