TMNT content coming to Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds!

The Turtles hit CrossWorlds in July, bringing all four brothers as playable characters, the Pizzafire Van as a new vehicle, and a track based on Mutant Mayhem's New York!



You can also see a brief clip of them in action during this new trailer, which also confirms that Godzilla and Evangelion will be joining the game next year.

Happy to finally have the TMNT stuff dated. This'll make quite a tasty early birthday present.

Yep, and the TMNT Festival is also currently running. (It's an online event where you can earn exclusive TMNT-themed vehicle customization parts and in-game titles.) It's only running until the end of tomorrow, though, so take advantage while you can!

Already got everything unlocked from the Festival, so I'm set! As far as the rest of the TMNT content goes, it's pretty cool. It's rad to have the Turtles as drivers (though, they suffer from CrossWorlds' limitation of DLC characters not having voices). The New York City track is neat, with a good number of alternate routes and visual flourishes to match Mutant Mayhem's distinct look. (Though, I kinda wish it went a little crazier, tbh.) The original music that SEGA created for the franchise is on-point, with some very obvious nods to both the OG cartoon's theme song and the Ninja Rap. Finally, the Pizzafire Van is a great addition to the vehicle roster, but I'm not huge on how you can barely see your character due to the giant pizza slice on the hood. Overall, a pretty solid selection of TMNT goodies. If you have the game already and love the Turtles (and don't mind the Mutant Mayhem representation), I'd definitely recommend it.

I hate the fact that I get so lazy I don't even make time to grind out events like this.
