Didn't they say they wanted a young Batman? He's still the right age for batman but not a young Batman by any means.

How did the original do at the box office? Why did this movie get delayed so much?
I thought it was a hit, just not a huge hit, seems odd they're tripping themselves with their biggest money maker. Wether on the DCU or not doing something is clearly better than nothing.

And when this comes out will basically be the same age as Affleck was when he made Batman v Superman, which was supposed to be a much older Dark Knight Returns-aged Batman. What a joke.

And its a carry-over from the Affleck version of the movie. It was going to be "The Batman." Reeves just kept the name.

To be fair Bale was also like 5 years younger when he began being batman when compared to pattison at least. He just looks younger. But yeah the whole Affleck is too old for our vision of the batman BS is ironic now.
Stillt his just shows DC doesn't know what to do, in a way they are no different than even before DCEU first first began (green lantern trying to be the first of a universe), just changing their plans. That same lack of focus is killing the current DCU, DC is basically the laughing stock again and that universe is what 1 year old?
