If you can tolerate FF, then you have reached god-status, but I'd rather send a meesage by not watching Fast Fowardd.
haha I'll take that as a compliment.

I just laugh because I see way worse programs on the air then this and yet no one seems to bash them. Then again I am on a TMNT board. But at work I hear people talking about these shows I find to be utterly stupid and how they like them.
American Idol, any reality crap period makes FF look like gold. You want cartoon examples, Gi Joe, Winx Club, basically anything on Nick. It's just crap. Yet people watch it still and it gets good ratings.

Like bad movies, those get praise but something intelligent gets shoved aside because a brain is required to view it. Now FF requires no brain. FF is reverse effect. It's something that required a brain and now does not. And maybe that's why us fans don't like it much, I take that back that IS why us fans don't like it.

It's simply mindless entertainment. And honestly the only reason I see myself enjoying it would be the name TMNT tagged onto it. But even Spider-man Unlimited couldn't hold my attention. But I still gave it a chance.

I bought the DVD and I watched it once. Will I watch it all the time? No not by a long shot. But I hardly mind having it there if I feel like visiting some episodes I haven't seen enough times to remember very well. We all know why FF isn't on par, and we are the only ones who can change that. That's why I support the series. Not because I like it.

I can respect that.

And yeah I agree, there are defintaley worse shows out there. It's easier to name the ones I watch than the ones I don't. Avatar the Last Airbender, Kim Possible, Yin Yang Yo, Naruto, Simpsons, South Park, King of the Hill, and most of the shows on Adult Swim are pretty much the only, currently runing, animated shows I watch. I really hate alot of these, some less than Fast Foward, some, more.

It's a shame that because of things like that, you can't really make TMNT dark. Even in Superman they were saying things like "My God", but if that were done today, there would be riots in the streets *sighs*

It was the same way back in 1990. Why TMNT2 was as corny as it was because parents has a big $#!+ fit over the violence. If they had a brain cell and watched it, they are taught to fight as a LAST RESORT.
I can proudly say I am not one of those parents who keep tv from the kid. Chris is 12 and he watches Family Guy, Futurama, and all the other junk on Adult Swim. He's not gonna get into drugs, smoking or any of those vices. He is a healthy thinking young man, eats his veggies and plans to live a long healthy life. He's been educated since he was littler. And he knows I'll kick his butt if he touches a joint.

I love how >> is considered "stand alone" episodes. Is this just because there aren't multi-part episodes? There is a distinguishable arc. The story does progress. Family Guy is a series of stand alone episodes. Nothing advances...nothing really changes. TMNT:>> has a story the moves from point A to point B. I'll admit it's not on par with 2k3, but it's not as bad as everyone makes out. Yes, the humor is more juvenile, but the story progression hjas changed very little.

I grew up on M rated video games and rated R movies and I've never ingested a drop of alcohol or inhaled, snorted, injected, any means of taking, any drugs either.

Funny to because both my parents are alcoholics*My Mom's the worst* and my Mom used to be a huge drug addict, and my Dad did his fair share as well. Not to mention almost all my friends do, or at some point were huge drug users and drinkers. They learned not to offer it to me. And in fact told me if I did try it they'd kick my ass. They told me they really like having at least one friend who doesn't do anything like that. And also told me some of their best times high or drinking they had with me. And I didn't have to touch any of that to have a good time with them.

Same here, though personally I prefer not to be around when people drink themselves stupid and/or get high. I've got better things to do.

I grew up in a house seeing coke, the razors, the tile, the straw; qualudes, pot, and whatever else. Mom didn't use, the dope she was with did. I never touched anything illegal ever. Mom had this notion she could cure him of drug usage...well it doesnt happen that way.

Their good people, just because someone does drugs doesn't mean their a bad person. Their all pretty sweet kids just a little mid-guided because they never had someone who cared for them before.

Most of them look to my Mom for a mother figure, the one they seriously lacked and it's cleaned them up.

I dont nessicsarly hate FF but here some things I think they can improve on

1. GET RID OF CODY! At first I kinda liked him but know auggg he is just there and I hate how he always saves the day I mean come on the show is about the turtles not CODY DAMNIT lol.

2. Animation- The Animation really bugs me it seems to childlike to me. Kinda Animeish. I just dont like it

3. No Karai! or any relatives of Karai she was one of my faveriote characters in 2k3 now its kinda boring without her.

4. The theme song- OMG I hate it and that stupid tune gets stuck in my head the whole freaking day it drives me Banana Sandwich!

5. Its Ninja time!- Okay I would have perfered cowabunga instead of this it gets really annoying.

6. The Humor- I dont mind it but all the childish humor is getting really old make up some new jokes!

7. Splinter- He just dont seem like himself. I like the serious Splinter and every once in a while its cute but I hate it when this FF Splinter always says he wants to watch his soaps it gets old after a while.

8- Serling- Last but least Serling! I cant stand him he is very annoying.

Well I could go on and on but we wont have time for that lol.

actually if u think about it, things do change on Family Guy...most of the characters advance, stewie doesn't hate lois, brian tries to change....there are a lot of subtle changes, but they are there....lol but for the most part, the randomness is what makes the show so good as is the same for Aqua Teen Hunger Force

FG evolves a lot quicker than certain other victims of stagnation, like The Simpsons. As noted above, Brian's character has multiple aspects to it, including that notion he's a racist. Meg went from annoying character to series scapegoat, which in turn gave her a fanbase eager to see her finally be accepted as a family member, and Stewie has went from generic "hate the mommy, rule the world", to retain all of that but show a...let's just say an affinity for shaving coin purses.

I'm sorry. Was that out loud? You really think Family Guy is bad? It's too rediculously humorous to be bad. But, if you insist...

As long as you don't say South Park is better, I'm fine with it.
