Ok, I'm not gonna read through all this, heh... But has anyone else had a problem when they're playing when the wiimote will vibrate and you cannot move? You go into the defence position or just stop moving.

It's happened rarely while running through levels, but often (annoyingly so) while fighting. I get killed alot because it vibrates and freezes and all I can do is the jump and pound the ground attack.

Anyone? Anyone at all?

Yes, which is why the Wii version sucks. It'll do that very often if you have the nunchuck tilted, and most of the time, you don't notice your tilting it until it's happening.

I'm sick of the controls. I'm selling this game. Wonder how much I'll get for it.

hmmm....the PS2 version works just fine. I have not had too many problems with it. I will have to try out the PC version of the game. It has 3 disks.

And this is why I don't own a Wii. Because games not made for it control like crap.

How is that fixing it for truth? All the games made for Wii's remote control fine. All the crap that's 3rd party and not intended just for the Wii remote seem to be what people are having problems with.

One name for one game. Wii Sports. On top of that, Zelda: Twilight Princess (although this one controls better than any other Woo game, it still has some annoying problems with the controls).

That's sad, now I'm even more happy I skipped over the Wii. I guess a classic gamepad that looks like the SNES controller would fix all that but I won't see why anyone needs to buy 50 different controllers just to play all the games comfortably.

playing the PC version will be interesting...no controller. The controls are dealt with the keyboard.

Yeah I played the demo and it bugged the hell out of me. Good luck, I can't stand console games on PC. Like Devil May Cry 3 no clue how anyone played that on PC.

Yeah, like they don't have gamepads for PCs I just use a PS to USB adapter myself. I don't get the complaints about the controls for console ports to PC. Of course they play better with a controller, that's why they have support for them. Heck, the PC port of TMNT even has a setup to configure the controls on your gamepad to how they're mapped on the console versions.

Yeah, I've got one of those PS to USB adapters too -- the game played well enough for me. Granted, I still had problems with the Turtles running on walls when I didn't want to, but from what I've heard those problems plague all versions of the game.

One thing about the PC version that DID bug me though was that all of the onscreen tutorials referred to the keyboard controls, which made them pretty useless for me. Instead of displaying them using the Alt and the C key, simply referring to the "tag" or "block" button would have been much more helpful.

Other than the freezing, I really enjoy the Wii version... Mainly because it's great fun to play and watch people play, swinging around wildly to get the weapons going, hehe.

That, and I'm from the age of Atari. All those technological capabilities still amaze me.

Yeah and most games don't. I have a 360 controller for my PC and I can't even use it with Half Life 2.

Well, there are also programs you can use to map keyboard commands to gamepads. I've been using this program called JoyToKey recently to play the TMNT - Ninja Adventures game they're packaging with the movie figures.

I've just become used to using a keyboard. I didn't grow up with a console in the house and it just takes getting used to, is all. *shrug*

Just tried out the PS2 version of this game, I had my boyfriend rent it for me at Blockbuster (he works there and gets free rentals and stuff). Our best buddy has a Wii and after spending hours playing party games on that thing, it still takes me a few tries to get using the wiimote properly. I can't imagine trying to play a game with these kind of controls with that kind of hardware. Especially with some of the looseness of the controls I've observed while playing the PS2 version. I wish they'd recorded a few other voice tracks for the turtles too while they're jumping around and fighting, that tends to get annoying after awhile. I've turned off the voices, but then I can't hear them tell their version of the story. =/

I'm not much of a PC gamer myself, but I'm sure I've seen console-type controllers available for purchase at CompUSA or Best Buy that you can use on the PC version. I dunno how much they cost these days, but if you prefer playing the PC version, much be another option besides using the keyboard.
