"I'll tell ya wut happened!!!" The bald man with the bloody face and water soaked shirt snarled as he weakly stood up, "That BRAT right there three a mug at me!"
She narrowed her eyes at the man, yeah, she thought, to stop you from killing me.
"And before that she spashed me and my buddies with water, then while she threw that glass at me, look what HE did to my guys!"
The anger was obvious in the girl's odd colored eyes. even snakes tell the truth more than you do! She thought
The man started staring at her. "Did ya hear what she just said?!? I'm not laying brat!"
[size=p]crunch... cruch... gnash... crunch...[/size]
She ground her teeth away, oooh how she wanted to kill the skin head!

(( LOL! You're improvising, just like me, HT. At first, I was only planning to have Allison be a minor character, but now I've got a personality for her.

Allison shook her head vigorously. "My customers," she gestured to Raphael and the unknown girl, "were only defending themselves from that man and his cohorts."

The bleeding man growled at Allison. "F***ing b***!! You're lying to cover their @sses!"

Allison gritted her teeth. He was right. She was trying her best to cover up for Raphael. Allison knew that if he was exposed to the outside world, it'd be the end of him and his brothers. But pissing off these other guys was going to get her in trouble. Word always spreads fast on the streets... I wouldn't be surprised if this jerk informed his gang of what happened hear. Damn it, I might have to close my bar...

Raphael gazed at Allison from underneath his fedora. His expression clearly stated "hang tight," so there was no need for him to say anything.

Allison nodded slightly, and took a deep breath. "No, I'm not lying. I'm speaking the truth, officer. They started the fight first."

From her spot, she glowered at the man; because of him, she was about to be discovered! She couldn't have this, she wasn't about to be put into some lab to be poked and prodded!
She felt a pang of (pain? no, it felt as if she was being pulled) pressure in her head as she watched the man rant on. She wished he'd had the problem that she had, she wished he couldn't... the pressur became stronger.... remember.

"I'm tellin' ya they... they... they uh..." The man looked a bit lost for words, "And then... she uh... my face its... I... can't... remember..."

The pressure on her head subsceeded and she raised an eyebrow, what just happened? With Ryu and Loyd preoccupied with the skin head, she slipped closer to the door.[/i]

Michaelangelo waited across the street from Allison's bar. He'd lost the trail of the person he was following, and was about to give up when the police car pulled up in front of the bar. A wave of panic washed over his as he realized that it was the same bar Raph like to frequent, but barging in didn't seem like a good idea. Still, he stayed across the street, watching the bar carefully in case anything else erupted.

Ryan narrowed his eyes at both the punk and the dark... no, make that green skinned kid. Troublemakers were troublemakers, when nether side could take the blame.

"Hey... Why don't we settle this over at the station? No if, ands or buts... face the way with your hands up and your feet spread apart!" Ryan told the punk and the kid, with cuffs in hand and nightstcik ready in case the punk gave him more trouble.

Loyd nodded. He recognized the street worn homeless-type person at the bar. The fellow always seemed to keep to himself and not make too much of a public nuisance like most other winos. Then he looked over the floor, to see a prostistute passed out on the floor. That made sense... she could have been the start of the fight with the men.

Loyd man eye contact with Ryan, then made his way over to that one man who was still consciously and full of fight. He saw that was a good call to take him in, but he didn't undestand why Ryan had an intend to arrest the child too.

"What did the litttle one do?" Loyd asked, hestiant to put the child in cuffs.

"I'm just taking her in... find out who her parents or what orphanage she came from," Ryan explained, cursing under his breath att he drunk punk's resistance.

She surpressed the urgh to growl, deciding it was best not to talk as if to silently plead the fifth. She wasn't about to do anything to make the head officer agree with the younger of the two. Maybe if she proved to them she wasn't a Kid?

She kept away from Ryan, shoving her hands stubburnly into her pockets.

Allison looked at the cops with a hint of worry in her expression. "Excuse me, officer, but the kid didn't do anything wrong. She just came in here for a glass of water. Then those men attacked her." Allison received an evil look from the only man who was still conscious.

Raphael cursed under his breath as he watched the scene unfold before him. He sensed something strange about the kid... Something familiar. He hoped that Allison's pleaing would work on the cop. Otherwise, he might have to do something drastic...

Ryan noticed the slight sneer on the kids face, and at that moment he could have swore he could have heard her mental retort, 'Did he just call her a Little One?'. That was strange. *Apparently, he did,* Ryan replied, to test this. Normally he was telepathic only with animals. Unless... was she also an animal, if not a shape shifter?

Loyd thought a moment, then looked to Ryan after hearing Allision's disapproval. "I'm sure she doesn't need the cuffs. At the least, find out if she lives around here. I'm taking this one to the car." Loyd said with a nod, before dragging the punk on outside.

She gave Ryan a look of shock as she heard his little message, there was no doubt who THAT had come from. She narrowed her odd colored eyes at him, *Go away, leave me alone!* she replied, *Defending one's self is no crime.* Her voice had a hint of authority in it, if he could hear her reply then there could be little or no doubt that she was indeed no child muchless human.

Allison kept changing her gaze from Ryan and the kid. They were both silent, but they stared at each other intently. Something weird's going on...

Raphael continued to pretend like he wasn't paying attention. He watched Ryan and the kid from the corner of his eye. C'mon, little boy blue... let her go. I don't wanna make another scene in here...

"It didn't sound like you were defending yourself within terms of reason," Ryan remained in her way to imply he was not going to 'leave her alone'. Strange green humanoid or not, he wasn't going to let her actions side without some sort of reprimand. "Do you have family around here I can contact?"

Raphael could hold his silence no more and finally decided to speak up. "Listen officer, the kid is with me. She's my cousin." The cop didn't believe him for a minute, but Raphael removed his fedora revealing similar features to the mysterious girl. "Now why don't you let me take her home? She and I were only defending ourselves from those... jerks."

She did a double take between Ryan and Raphael. Go with the cop and possibly get disected, or go with the turtle who had taken out two men in a matter of seconds? Well, as long as he use those moves on her, she'd be fine. Quietly, she walked away from Ryan and the door and sat to the side farthest from the cop, hoping that he'd believe the story.
At least she had heard Allison say his name before... Raph, right?

Ryan was even more led on by the fact she refused to admit what really happened, and acted very disfensive about it. Strange thing she was becoming. He just wanted to make sure she wasn't going to cause more trouble, whatever she was, after they left.

But after the homeless one revealed himself, Ryan rose both eyebrows and then blinked as he looked to the barkeep. She seemed as if she knew of this, by the lack of surprise on her face. The cop looked back to the green fellow and the shorter one, all the more perplexed. But he sounded very sincere about what he said, and it finally made more sense.

"Fine... just keep a better eye one her, so you all stay out of trouble," Ryan sighed as he told the big green one and Allison. If they were normal people, he would not have been so lenient, he reasoned with himself. But since he didn't want to open a whole new can of worms, it would be best to let this one be.

He left the bar to meet up with his partner outside. Loyd seemed to agree that Ryan made a good decision leaving the 'little one' alone.

"You did notice something ... different about that one, didn't you?" Ryan checked.

Loyd just nodded. He knew about the homeless fellow at the bar who kept to himself. Not that he ever met the strange guardians personally... he just only seen their handy work. "Some things about this city you best learn not to meddle with."

Ryan gave him a curious look, not sure just what Loyd knew that he didn't.

"I just call it an unseen kind of neighborhood crime watch..."

The younger Asian cop nodded, biting his lip.
