It very well may be the case that this episode shows him as right-handed. I remember watching an episode or two of the 2K3 series and being mad because it showed Mike as right-handed when he's left-handed everywhere else.

I have never heard of your theory being applied to which hand a person uses. But I have heard of a similar theory, the one where if your eyes look to the right, you are creating or lying but if your eyes look to the left, you are recollecting stuff from your past or telling the truth It's a little test police like to try when interrogating a person in custody!

nice horse. i was gonna say that i'm an artist who's right-handed as well, excelling in writing, drawing, etc...anything that involves the creative process...and i'm absolutely sad at anything mathematic or logistical. i mean, the hemispheres of the brain aren't all that black and white.

but the theory you've heard about looking left and right is very interesting. i've never heard of that before, i'm certainly going to research on that. if it's true it'd help me in the future! eheheh.

Yes, that's true - it's all to do with what part of your brain is active when you're lying.

The right / left handed thing is true - but not black/white; either/or etc. Most people use both sides of their brain. I'm also right handed and very artistic and creative, but I'm also very logical too (left brain - right handed). Although interestingly, I am more ambidexterous than most. (can't write neatly with my left hand, but can write with it and play sports with my left hand, too). An example of people using only one side of their brain might be applied to some of the plonkers who live around here - I live in Cambridge and as you probably know the top university in the country is here in the city. Some of the people here are too intelligent for thier own good. So intelligent that they have absolutely no common sense!

As for your art work - truly outstanding, girl. You get multiple thumbs up from me. Do you have any more? I love looking at people's art work - could you PM me some of your stuff?

To be honest, I can't remember the exact science behind it - but the right side of the brain is more for creative / artistic function, spatial awareness, language and the left side of the brain is for logic / science processing etc.

Everyone uses both sides of the brain, but often one side more than others ie you get some people who are really scientifically minded or some who are really creative (this might be reflected in what hand they use).

My example of Cambridge academics is about the fact that you need to constantly keep exercising the brain to keep it functioning and a lot of people who are extremely gifted academically spend so much time exercising the left brain through study and such, that they end up not using the other side of the brain. Examples I've seen are university professors bumbling along through the streets and stepping into oncoming traffic; having no sense of direction (which is a right brain process due to visual aspect of it)... the biggest problem in Cambridge is uni students who ride bicycles. They seem to be completely oblivious to other traffic and just lack.... common sense... (is the only way I can think to put it). In really extreme cases, I've seen people spending so much time in their own head that they lose all awareness of their physical self - forget to shave, wash etc. I'm only talking about a small portion of society, but there seem to be a lot of them around Cambridge university - especially the professors.

A personal example is that I have always been quite right brained - ie artistic, creative, good sense of direction. I used to draw, act, play piano and music. I'm now a financial adviser and have done a lot of studying... I have completely lost my sense of direction and spatial awareness.... I don't know where it went.

Yeah that's exactly it. Social skills is a right brain function.

Of course, it's not quite as simple as I'm making it out to be. The brain is so complex that really I'm simplifying as my understanding is limited to 'A level' psychology / biology. But the essence is there.

there are too many of those people, lol. i wouldn't say socially retarded, but they seem to have people skill problems. this is true of my friend who always scored straight As and ended up in genetics. he's horribly tense when he talks to ANYone, even me sometimes.

I'd love to, but you'll probably going to have to wait over the weekend and cross your fingers. I've been having issues with my pc, and I have to upload all my scans. The picture I had I just happen to have still in my photobucket account.

I do the Turtles to, and I'll try to find them. It's been a long time, and most of them are just doodles I did in high school when I was getting bord with class!

I think you're wrong. Here is what I think it is from the viewers left to right.

Lefty - He's holding the katana in his left hand

Lefty - His left hand is above his right, hence a lefty. Left handed throwers in baseball place their left hand above the right when holding a bat.

Lefty - Again the left had is on top
