Great cover. What happened to the new "TMNT" logo that #28 introduced, though? I rather liked it, it was sleek.

I agree I liked it quite a bit also, I bet they sliped up and forgot it because time has passed by so much since the last issue lol

Why can you only download 3 comics a day on WOWIO?

I just ordered the $10 comic, any chance I will get a signed one?

I am really mad the one weekend I am away is the weekend this comes out.

I hadn't been into volume 4 until I downloaded a bunch of issues off Wowio and read them back to back. I think it flows much better as a whole than in individual installments. When I go to buy a comic book, I expect some short term action and get frustrated if I don't get at least a little sense of closure. But as a whole, Volume 4 reads short of like a graphic novel, a long one! This issue is continuing that story for me, so I like it, though now I'll have to wait a while for the next installment.

Yes and no I was enjoying Lairds story but not Lawsons art it looked so rushed allot of the time before.
And this issue doesn't seem so bad, and it looks like he or whomever put more care into it and it didn't look like quick drawings just to do it for the sake of doing it.
But yeah I enjoyed this issue more than others because it's moving things along.

I know! I was the same! Only managed to order it on Sunday night, probably missed the signed copies but $15 including international shipping isn't that bad I guess.

Hopefully I'll get a signed copy of #30. Anyone know how many issues are being done to wrap Vol. 4 up?

There's a way to DL 6 books off Wowio per day...that is if you live on the west coast. Wowio is on mountain time and they don't take into account other time zones. So Im able to DL 3 books in the morning and 3 books at night after 10pm (when it's midnight where Wowio is at).

If I remember correctly, I believe Peter intends to do about 12 issues including #29.

Yeah, but then you can't download any the following day, so it's not like you're downloading issues any faster.

Got an unsigned copy of this in the mail today along with another issue I've been missing thanks to a friend at Mirage.
Let me just say Issue #29 is even better in print than it is on the Wowio download, It's most def. missing some depth in the download that you get in the printed version.

I don't ever remember there being a specific number of issues mentioned in the conclusion of Volume 4.

I just re-read the original announcement about digital distribution from September 11th at ninjaturtles.com (also on Murphy's blog), and there is no mention of how long Laird plans to continue it, time-wise or issue-wise.

I then read the January announcement concerning Wowio specifically, and nothing there either.

The only place I've read about Peter wrapping up the volume is on here, from fans who wanted him to.

Yeah, I re-read it too. I don't think that's where I read it. Grr... now it's going to bug me until I can find it.

He says that the STORYLINE will finish in 12 issues. That doesn't mean Vol 4 will. It just means that we have 12 more issues of April missing, Gameraph, Action Figure Don, Mike with Triceratons, and Leo in the Battle Nexus.
