So the Turtles aren't social outcasts living in the sewers anymore? Ugh, why did they have to put them in school?

Its like they're making it like those other superhero teenager shows like Kim Possible or the like.

Ugh, I can just see Mike taking a test and sneaking out the window to fight some baddies. I'm not a fan of the Turtles getting girlfriends either.

Not sure which post you got that from, since I've been skimming some of it; but there was no mention of school, or them not living in a sewer, or not being social outcasts...

I'm trying to figure out what the, "Deal-breaker," was. It can't be:

1) Splinter having a human origin, because most people would have no problem with that

2) Shredder not being human, because again, the 2k3 series did that

3) Mike/Don having bladed weapons, since we know they retract

4) Turtles having 3 toes was confirmed not to be the worst thing they did

The only horrible thing I can think they did is either treat the turtles like real teenagers, (i.e. have them in school or human girlfriends), or have them act like real superheroes responding to calls from the police or something ala Teen Titans.

Because I can't see what they could have done that was so horrible. The 4 Turtles have the same personalities, right? Leo leads, Don invents, Mike parties, Raph is angry, etc.
