After having seen the covers and list of books that are a part of this series, I have a question.
For those of us only looking for the TMNT content (cameos included), which issues will we need to buy?

I've been wondering that, too. I *think* we only need to get the INFESTATION 2 title and the two TMNT books, meaning the other crossover books can be skipped. But I'm not 100% sure on that.

I believe this is accurate. You would get these comics...

Infestation 2 no.1 - 1.25.12
Infestation 2: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles no.1 - 3.7.12
Infestation 2: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles no.2 - 3.21.12
Infestation 2 no.2 - 4.11.12

Too bad the Ghostbusters will be missing out of the Infestated fun this year. I recently read their Infestation 1 issues and they were a real blast!

Will be getting the Infestation books ( Main 2 issues plus TMNT Infestation issues ) with just 1 cover i guess.
Not multiple covers as the TMNT main series.

I have the whole series being pulled for me. All the titles. I enjoyed the first one so I can't see the second being that bad. Besides I like supporting IDW, it's where I want to work after I get done with my Graphic Design program.

I have to admit... a Ghostbusters meet TMNT storyline would be very difficult for me to pass up, on a sheer nostalgic level.

So... how can this be the same universe as the one of IDW's TMNT main series if they have colored bandanas? I just can't understand that decision.

Yeah, but there must be a reason for them to change them (e.g. Batman can't wear a yellow cape for one issue without an explanation)...

I was just afraid that they could wear them for the crossover and would suddenly go back to red in the main series without even talking about it.

But well, I read some of the earlier posts and found the link to the IDW forum. Now I know that there will be an explanation (even though most of us probably won't like it)...

Just hope the color-thing won't be forever and that it will fit in.
