well looking up his info he's done a lot of voices so if the character did show up he could do the voice again.

Tatsu was a threat in movie one, most especially in presence. In my opinion, I always thought taking him out like they did (via Casey Jones and the golf club) was a tad lame, because Tatsu basically owns Casey the entire fight.

Concerning Tatsu in Ooze, we should remember that he was a victim to the script and the overall OT vibe of the entire movie. The threat and presence he had in movie one vanished in thin air.

Yeah I always found it odd that they made a point to point out that it takes place a day later but that the tone is so different. Tatsu was definitely much different. Though his scenes in the dump at the start were some of the best he had.

I'll have to do some digging agin, but I could have sworn when I watched them a couple nights ago Raph says something about them taking the Shredder out the day before.

edit: Okay I can't find a full script online but I could have sworn someone makes a comment about it only being a day. Maybe it is a foot clan member when they are coming into the dump. I could have sworn.

But remember, the Turtles and Splinter were acting like they over-stayed their welcome at April's apartment, meaning they were there for some days (at least) already.

I definately prefer Tatsu over Hun. I always felt it would be cool if both Tatsu and Hun would be shredder's henchmen. Tatsu as second in command for the foot branch and Hun second in command for the purple dragon branch. Ok I know the foot only had a purple dragon branch in the 2K3 series but I felt that was a really good idea. The New York branch foot clan members have to start somewhere, am I right?

the fact that he got disposed off rather quickly doesn't really negate that he was fightning or threatening...I share the oppinion that he really seemed skilled and 'not-to-be-****ed-with', so I can understand the notion of him being called threatening...when I think backl to tatsu thats what I remember, that he was scary and not how he was knocked out of the way for the heroes to come safe the day and end the film..

That doesn't make any sense at all. Tatsu would work for the Foot anyway. And even then they're more likely to use Hun.

In fact, isn't Tatsu the only guy in the films who managed to actually kill anybody? That should make him like the best "ninja" in the whole film series right there, by default.

Scripted yes but those coughs added in the edit pretty much negate that kill.

Though while Tatsu was disposed with easily I do think the first movie did a good job to present him as threatening.

Well with certain people showing up in the comic maybe we could see him show up as well. Maybe he is the ninja talking at the end of the Raph issue and not who we thought after all.

Tatsu just was a victim of parental groups in the second movie. You know now that I think about it he does have a tendency to get sucker punched though...

Hell, he is still badass, he would've wasted Casey if not for that golf club that happened to coincidentally lie there,...
