I'm going to assume that English is not his first language. Looks like the type of mistake my Japanese students would've made, mixing up those type of verbs or wording the sentence wrong trying to use "to see" or "to watch" in that particular context.

If you really are put off by the word "penis" (or "pingas"), I suggest you search DeviantART for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and see some of the truly gross results; that should calm you down.

Probably not. Ussualy promos are far better than the actual show. Same with first screenshots from games, they are ussualy lookin way better than the final product.

Huge difference. On deviant Art, you have to actively search after the "icky" stuff from the fandom. Here, on a siggy, it's slapped right into the face of who ever find it disturbing.

hey I am delighted, these may be just pieces of a second there and the backgrounds(for what can say in such a limited span of time and let's not forget that the videos a framed pretty tightly so to not show too much) look a little empty...but I really like how the turtles move(any one noticed that in the first lil sequence leo is talking but the rest of the turtles don't even move the least...)
I hope we get more footage very soon!

okay, let me edit this after rewatching:I think these aren't actual backgrounds anyway...they just show us the new turtles in motion...

I don't know some of us real fans still are not pleased with it.
But quite frankly I find it to be a matter of taste rather than who's a fan and who isn't.
So far I'm more impressed by the toys I saw and the 2d art I was shown than this.
The movement is nice but I just feel something is very off about the look of the cg characters compared to the 2d.

care to elaborate more then just "this is stupid, cause I say so"?

What makes it look lazy? is the model textures off? funky looking render? choppy animation? Models not smooth or high poly enough? Something wrong with the lighting? Are the background not consistent with the style of the character models?

or do you just think CGI is lazy and easy to make? for let me tell you, it is far from easy to make a proper CG model that are rigged, skinned and animate-able, let alone animate the model, or 4-6 models in the same scene.

I totally agree with this. Being a real fan doesn't mean instantly accepting everything simply because of what it is. Someone can't sell me a pile of puke just because it's called "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles". Part of being a fan is having some kind of standards.

I haven't seen what Vaughn has but so far Viacom hasn't shown me a single thing I've been interested in or excited about except the Sideshow statues and even some of those have their issues.

As someone who wasn't formerly impressed by what has been revealed of the new show, I have to say I am impressed with that shot of Mikey. It seemed to have a sense of style. The city background looked cool, Mikey seemed to move pretty smoothly (fyi I am not an animation expert), and his face looked expressive.

Eh...Honestly my problem with it is the same I've had the whole time. I don't like the lack of texture on the body and the way it's lit doesn't help with that problem any. They look like they're made out of clay and cel-shaded. Like some game from 2003. Except back then it helped make good use out of limiting hardware. Here it just looks cheap.

Then again the clip is barely 2 nano-seconds long so no one can accurately judge the actual animation much but visually I can see the same problems I've had all along still exist.
