Like someone else said I liked the vs mode in turtles in time. But it's not possible to vote for that so I'm gonna go with... tournament fighters SNES.

The Genesis version gets my vote. I loved the look of the characters. The taunts are still the greatest thing to ever grace my Genesis. Mikey: "That's a laugh!" Now if you'll excuse me, I am going to pop in my TF.

After playing all the retro TMNT fighters, I have to say the NES version is my favorite. I love the 8-bit graphics, the simplistic gameplay, and the small roster. I wanted to say the SNES version is my favorite, because I owned it as a kid and played it all the time, but I sorta feel like it takes itself too seriously? I just have more fun with the NES version.

Looks like I voted Melee back in the day... not sure why. Maybe because it's the one I actually own, but I still really liked it. It can be cheap sometimes, and I've never completely beaten it, but it's a fun game. And how many turtle fighters let you play as a Foot Ninja?

To be honest, I've been playing TMNT:TF (NES) all night. Trying to master the moves on this game should be easier than it actually is, but once you get it down it's really satisfying.

I'm totally stoked because I finally beat Hothead during a CPU battle!

I don't know why Rocksteady, Bebop, or a Foot Soldier aren't selectable characters in this version of Tournament Fighters. They'd fit right in.

I was surprised Rocksteady and Bebop weren't playable in any version. At most you'd think they'd at least be in one.

That's why many fans were so disappointed by Smash Up. With it being produced during the 25th Anniversary, many fans assumed it would have a roster that would include characters from the 25 years of the franchise, and not the lame cast it did.

I thought it was because the fighting games focused on obscure characters rather than popular ones, other than Shredder.

You can say why was Krang not in most of them. I know he's in the unpopular Genesis version.

I thought Sisyphus was the strangest character I'd ever seen. Not being a fan of Greek mythology in middle school, I didn't even know how to pronounce his name!

Of all the TF games, I probably logged the most hours into the NES version. That was actually the first fighting game I owned, and by that point it was a thrill to actually have a new NES game to play.

Am I the only one who noticed that Stonebiter was on the cover of Mutant Melee, yet makes absolutely NO appearance what so ever in the game?

That was a notable complaint among fans here when the game was released. Character roster has always frustrated us.

Also, on one of the overseas releases of Mutant Melee, the cover art featured Bebop (A. C. Farley) art ripped from the Archie TMNT Mutant Universe Sourcebooks. Now that was pretty random!

I wanted to play Smash-Up but I didn't want to have to buy a Wii just to play it.

Sometimes I feel like everyone else has played a different version of Smash Up than the one I did.

The game I played was an insult to garbage.

Playing Smash Up online. Ok then. I'm sure there are a ton of people playing it to actually make that work.

Wii online gaming. Good luck getting THAT to work.
