An open letter to Paramount:

Hey. Idiots. Here's a thought. Get your ****ing scripts right before you open a production office.

It's like they were going, "It's a franchise! It's a franchise! We've got to get it filming! Every second we waste, is a second of potential residual money we lose!"

We have had deep Turtles fiction before. But its numbers include "City at War" and a handful of Mirage's more reflective or indie-styled pieces, and that's about it. No one should hold out for anything like that. The most we can reasonably hope for is a competently done action movie, which the 2007 film wasn't, and which many, many franchise-based initiatives within the last few years have failed to be as well. Not sure if holding the script back bodes well or not for moving in a positive direction.
Really? You give me the "hmm" and then back it up with City At War as comparable to Avengers? Laughing out loud!

I guess "deep" is a subjective thing, especially when you have real-life film critics and reviewers on the 'Drome. Darn, I should have consulted my dictionary on the meaning of deep. Let's see..."deep" as we are using it is described as:

deep, 2. (of an emotion or feeling) intensely felt.

...Yeah. Pretty subjective to me.

He was saying City At War was pretty deep, but Avengers wasn't, at least that's what I got out of it.

Cure and convince this. Deep is subjective. Period.

It's subjective! It's subjective! The last ditch effort of an idiot that knows he's wrong.

If you think Avengers is deep because of the reasons stated, thats ok but you're wrong.

That stuff happens in pretty much every action movie in the history of the universe. But hey. Whatever. Some adults wish that they can wear halloween costumes made for children too.

It's not wrong you tool, it's subjective. Pretty simple. There's no debate. To think something is deep varies from person to person --- maybe your teachers didn't get that info on opinions across to you or Cure or any of you other "rat pack" members in high school cause you were too busy sticking your d*ck into a Playstation.

Stalker much, but yes, I do wish I could wear those new Nick costumes. They look awesome, why wouldn't you wanna wear them? Cause you're a big adult who wishes he was a paid film critic? Pfftt stryke this.

sorry man, its not subjective. youve basically said that any character that overcomes conflict is deep. so, ummm, every movie is deep. sorry, thats not subjective, it's wrong.

stryker is right. avengers was deep in the way that independence day was deep.

The characters themselves within the story may experience emotional depth, even in the Avengers, however I do not see the viewer (you and I) experiencing any sort of deep emotion, other than excitement for how fun the movie is. The character development in The Avengers was very hollow, they don't want to be a team, then they beat each other up for 5 minutes and now they are all best buddies. With what little development there is, you can see it but being able to attach yourself and become emotionally involved with what the characters are feeling is a stretch.

The Pianist in my opinion is a good example of how a movie can have a deep emotional impact on the viewer, but what do I know I'm just a computer nerd.

Stryke this? What the f*ck does that mean? That an attempt at a joke?

Also get your damn information right before you use your flippers to slap out a response. We stick it in our XBOXES. Good lawd. Give it up dawg. You're just saying the same thing over and over without actually elaborating at all.

Michelangelo....this? That right? I can barely see the keyboard through my size 2 donatello mask.

Stryke this...cure this...that's me grabbing my nuts at the lot of you weenies. I thought you'd catch on but it slipped me that you guys probably don't get out much to see what society jokes about these days. But hey, I guess it was a silly joke, seein' as how only game consoles turn you guys on. Whoopsies!

I thought Avengers had deep character moments, but whatever. It's clear that I'm surrounded by ravenous movie critics who state opinion as fact. And I'm feeling just fine with my *ahem* adult sized orange mask over here.

Right. Because playing video games makes you a giant nerd and a loser but wanting to dress up as a ninja turtle with a children's halloween set when you're a grown person.... Well that's just the coolest thing anyone can ever do!

We got what you were doing. Cure said it. It still makes no sense over a messageboard.

Another example of someone that know's he has nothing. STILL not adding anything to your argument. Just getting mad and trying to call people movie critics as some sort of insult. Thanks? We have views on movies.....what monsters. Keep on going son. Tell us more on how a movie like Commando is deep and thought provoking.

Weenies. Really now.

I hope they carry on with a movie. Do the have to have an origins at the start of the movie. I think They should just dive right in. We all know they are teenage mutant ninja frogs that mutated from ooze.
