I'm gonna post what I think as I read...

45 pages in and I want to strangle the person who wrote this. Thankfully I'm going to guess the producers who read it know it's awful and won't be using most of it. It reads like it was written by someone who read a paragraph summary of the entire franchise and know **** all else.

It has to be. No fan would write a script that lacked any turtles identity of it's own. They took the blockbuster formula and slapped the turtles into it. Military guys, lots of shouting, horrid jokes, and bad re-imaginings of established characters. You know saying it's like Transformers isn't far off. Casey and April might as well be Buff and Fox.

Interesting to note that the script is dated from the 30th January. Work definitely would have been done on this since, since this is from way before it was put on hold. Also, it was obviously written before a director would have come on board.

I haven’t read it fully, just skimmed bits. Can someone who has read it point in the direction of Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady’s first appearance, like the page numbers. I want to read how they’re described. I can't find their introductions anywhere.

I won't nitpick the whole thing, though. One thing I will say is that this Schrader business has got to end.

Found the descriptions. Bebop and Rocksteady are described just like how they appear in the toon. Even the colours are correct. Very happy about that. Krang, meanwhile, is described as being grey, and his metallic suit has four arms.

Schrader, oddly enough, doesn't get any description at all.

If I had to choose one thing about this script that rubs me up the wrong way, its what they’ve done to Shredder and the Foot. That is dreadful, whichever way you cut it. I find it quite odd how "Schrader" isn’t described physically at all. Everyone else is. Strange.

The Turtles, IMO, have actually got off quite lightly. How they’re handled isn’t actually as bad as was feared. IMO, at least. But Shredder…………I was looking forward to seeing him. On the plus side, Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady sound like they could be good.

This script wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, though it obviously needs a lot of editing in order for this to be good. As they say, the enemies of a franchise are the fans, where if they insult the project too much, then there is no reason for such a product to exist. I actually like the idea of having Casey and April being introduced as normal young adults, though I would make them a little older (Casey at 23 and April at 21 since they mention their college experience and that we already have April interning at a high profile news corporation!) We do get introduced to Casey's mother Evelyn, and being that she's in her 50s, Casey should be somewhere in his 20s. But if April can be at Channel 6 at 18, perhaps in the Nick Toon during Season 3 she will do so there. We also reveal that April's father is named Harry, which sort of makes sense since April's middle name from the original cartoon was Harriet. Though in New York, the CBS affiliate is on Channel 2, not 6. (The Blackrock building is mentioned which is indeed CBS's news headquarters).

I feel that the name "Schrader" was chosen since it sounds fairly similar to Shredder, and its weird having a TMNT script featuring Krang, Rocksteady, Bebop, the Technodrome, and the Foot, but no Shredder. Perhaps Schrader becomes Shredder in a sequel. This script makes even Seasons 4 and 5 of the OT feel serious and real, and who knows if the "so bad it's good" tactic could have worked. Even though it isn't too violent, this looks to be a PG-13 movie based on profanity. Overall, I feel it's not completely garbage, but lots of revisions are needed in order for this project to work, and I feel that people have overreacted on the negativity of this movie. It's a shame that many people don't have the courage to help rather than insult them and sadly don't believe that there can be positive things.

Did he seriously just say "Eye**s?" Did they just ask an 18 year old to go have beer with them? This scene between April and Casey is not only extremely cliche but sounds nothing like either character. Their names might as well be Bob and Linda. I like the idea of telling the story through Casey, it's one I've used myself, but I'd prefer it be in a clever way. So far you could change out Casey for Justin Bieber and make some lame coming of age movie. Nice cartoon moment with the manifest change. The swearing in the writing is hilarious and unnecessary, like that guys mustache. Turning the Foot into private military types is really retarded. And using Alice lore for code words is super cliche. The truck vaccuming up dirt is so ridiclious... Krang? Really? I guess I should have expected that. This April Casey relationship is awful. I liked it better when they met through the turtles. This bad teen romance crap isn't cutting it. Plus I'm sure they'd cast a super model to play April and let me tell you when a super model asks you to move to New York with her, and she has an apartment already, you do it. If I'm a fan I already hate this so that disclaimer doesn't help. "They look like what you remember but in a way we think is better!" Yeah like Dante's "awesome" redesign in the new DMC game... So Raph and Leo get paragraphs to describe them and their looks and Don gets a half assed sentence? So we're building up Mikey to be the one we're all waiting to see? Leo and Raph take out all the guards while Don does nothing. And why the hell did Raph hand the stick to Leo? Minus the end he just broke off it's bascially a bo staff. Like the Panda comment was ass enough, the serving Kung fu for dinner line is even worse. I still really hate the Foot being military guys with guns... Well Mikey said it for me, seriously. Using their shells as bullet sheilds is ing retarded. Also how are they all hiding behind one turtle? That makes no sense considering the size Leo and Raph are described as being. Nice OT moment with the elevator... Actually we have seen it before in TMNT 2, even had bowling pin sounds. And to be honest I never wanted to see it again. Watching the turtles fight dudes with guns who could easily kill them is a really bad idea. The bullet proof line barely makes this excusable. I want to see them fighting other skilled fighters not disposable soliders. That forklift into the SUV thing was severly retarded. I'm starting to worry for this writer. His brain isn't right. Enough with the stupid shell gags already! Tree branch sai? Ugh... Gun holster nunchucks? SERIOUSLY?! This is actually so bad it's starting to piss me off. Farm tool weapons? This is Ninja Turtles not Macguyver! Well at least they're not aliens in this script. Way to glaze over the origin story. I mean that...keep it quick and simple. Here's a chance to give them the iconic red masks and they go with Black? This writer needs to be smacked with a make shift baseball bat! Introduction of the colored masks is as LAME as always. Well it's clearly the Leo and Raph show yet again. Sorry Mikey you're the turtle people want to see but aparently not hear. Actually that's Don who again gets screwed in the dialgue and combat department. Use the shell crap one more time, one more mother ing time, I dare you, I double dare you! Brain sick like this horrid writer! Oh they hear a loud crash but none of the screaming?
