Can't wait to see Usagi in the 2012 series. He was one of the first action figures I got when I was a kid, even before receiving all 4 turtles for my 6th birthday ages ago. He's always been one of my favorites.

Yeah, I really hope they keep him from another dimension instead of just saying he's some random mutant who was mutated in Japan, just like Tiger Claw. Also, I hope they keep Usagi true to character.

I wish they would've posted some proof of the retail guide though.
I trust the TMNT fan site, because they've never posted something in the past with out knowing it as a fact.

Did they screwed up, and named him Usagi Yojimbo again?

To follow this up, upon looking at the DVD episodes list, it's 6 episodes, but unlike the Season 1 releases, the episodes so far have been put in story order.

Meaning that Follow the Leader is the second episode listed and then Squierranoids.

So, so far so good. Widescreen, proper story order, and 10 bucks.

And upon browsing through the episodes, the opening titles are in every episode.

Why, what's the different between that and Miyamoto Usagi? He can be called either.

Shouldn't they have announced Season 4 by now? It's still early but I remember S2 and 3 were announced really quickly.

No, Seasons 1-3 were all announced at the same time. The show was greenlit with 3 seasons from the start.

That may be true, but they publicly announced a second season a week after season one premiere, and then they publicly announced season three early 2013. So it could've been green lit for three seasons, but we didn't initially know that. But, still, should we be worried we haven't heard about a season four, since it would be released fall 2015?

Not surprised about B&R... really hope they are not the dorks they were in the OT, but that's impossible, right? They have to keep amping it up, Shredder keeps introducing more and more badass lackeys, for them to suddenly add two totally incompetent ones would be a huge setback, so I expect them to be formidable.

Usagi is a bit more of a surprise, but a welcome one for sure.

If Shredder is really out for 'revenge' in Season 3 as speculated, I think it will have to do with karai leaving his side. She may not join the turtles, she may just go her own way in order to find herself or something, but I expect things between her and Shredder to come to a head this season or early next season. And he will of course put further blame on Splinter and the turtles for this.

Now you're being a casual. His name is Miyamoto Usagi, family name before given name. Yojimbo is Japanese for bodyguard, and Usagi is Japanese for rabbit. Hence, Usagi Yojimbo - the name of the comic, not the character - means rabbit bodyguard.

Rumors we are getting season 4.

Quote:
There’s just no stopping our heroes in a half shell. Shortly after the initial success of Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, it was announced that they would be picking the show up for a second season. A few months later, the news broke that they would be giving the show a third season as well. If this latest rumor is true, it would appear that the series is going to be picked up once more for a fourth season. Needless to say, this is great news for the fans and for the franchise over all, as this latest animated series has almost single-handedly revitalized the Ninja Turtles.

Although there has been no official announcement about this particular subject, we received information from a reliable source within the industry which hinted at Nickelodeon’s plans for next year and beyond. It was clear just from this source that there were plans to continue the story, as they hinted at a major cliffhanger at the end of the third season. Whether or not this information is entirely accurate remains to be seen, but given where it came from, I’m tempted to believe that it is true. I’m sure they won’t announce it any time soon, but the fans will be happy to know that they’ve got a lot more Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming to them.

As one of the most popular shows on the network, it would actually be hard to believe that Nickelodeon didn’t have any plans to renew the series. That being said, I must reiterate that this is not concrete and we cannot entirely confirm that TMNT has been renewed. We’re still in the early days of this whole process, so it’s important to understand that anything could happen and even a reliable source could end up being wrong in the end.
It talked about the movie toys too.

Well I hope the rumor is fact! Pretty sure Ciro said he knew how to end the series if season3 is the last one, but I'd gladly take a 4th and beyond! Wonder if s2 is going to end on a cliffhanger with Shredder showing up in the lair, and have no idea what the 3rd season cliffhanger will reveal if true. Interesting stuff.

Well, I hope it soon becomes fact because I love this show to death and definitely want to see more of it. This show has definitely revitalized TMNT, and that's awesome.

I won't be truly satisfied until we learn that Bebop/Rocksteady are humans before mutation, and that Bebop is black with a purple mohawk.

I will be so angry if they're just zoo animals or if they turn those god awful Purple Dragon characters into the iconic Bebop and Rocksteady.

Black Bebop with purple shades and mohawk, and white Rocksteady with camo army pants is the way to do.

Cliffhanger at the end of season 3. I wonder if it has something to do with Leonardo.
