Yeah, looking at Zap2it, it would appear that "Mutation Situation" is a one parter, since they had two separate listings for both "Rise" and "Showdown", but just one "Mutation".

I'm a little confused right now, but it will make more sense as the episodes actually air.

Looking on the bright side, even though there isn't a new episode on Oct. 26th, we got the Wii game coming out that week. I'll just play through that on Saturday instead lol.

I can't get over that they're doing a rerun break already. I hope this is not a, "new episode every other week" crap they pulled towards the end of Season 1.

They should at least air 13 episodes straight, then do reruns, and then air the final 13.

Thank you both for your replies. I'm a bit surprised it's likely going to be a one-parter, that would mean they have quite a lot of stuff to put in one episode.

Thanks again.

The way the first season worked out in terms of broadcasting meant, on average, we got an episode every other week. It isn't really ideal, but out of our hands.

I do like your suggestion though, particularly if Part 1 of the season leaves on a cliffhanger. You could air Part 1 for 13 weeks, have 13 weeks off, air Part 2 for 13 weeks and then have another 13 week break before the next season aired.

To be fair, that's the Saturday before Halloween, so they're probably focusing on Halloween specials all weekend.

Although the "one episode every two weeks schedule" can be annoying, personally I would still prefer that over a 13-week break in the middle of the season.

At least with one episode every two weeks, (Except for a two-parter) you would keep a feeling of progression, knowing the next episode is never that far away.

I don't mind a 13 week break between seasons, but I can't stand a 2+ week break between episodes.

If they want to skip holiday weekends that is understandable, but please, try to keep a consistent schedule this season otherwise!

Truedat. My fiancé thinks they're showing so many reruns between new episodes because they're trying to keep the kids caught up with the story. That sort of makes sense because allot of the stuff in animation these days involves so much of that Regular Show Unclegrandpa randomness with very few cartoons doing ongoing story arcs. lol she's gonna be mad because she hates this new episode every other week trend.

Nothing big or unknown but Zap2It finally put episode descriptions for the first two:
*
The Mutation Situation
The turtles' problems worsen when Shredder teams up with the Kraang to receive a batch of mutagen.
10/12/2013 *

Invasion of the Squirrelanoids
The Turtles bring a mutated squirrel back to the lair.

Both summaries sound interesting though I'm curious as to why they bring a mutated squirrel to the Lair. My guess is Don wants to study it or Mikey feels pity for it and wants to bring it home.

This episode will probably be similar to the Aliens movie. Can't wait.

^ thanx XD

also.....around 0:15 Timothy is holding up a picture.....it looks like April.....and someone else?? the picture frame looks like it has hearts on the sides...so it could be Donnie's....or April's...

and if it isn't April....maybe it's Tim's parents?
