At least 3 on this page alone. While the crew def puts loads of awesome references in there for you to discover, people really reach with these kinda things.

Not so much wishful thinking, but wishful praying that it wasn't her.

Seems like even IGN thought it was. I don't think of them as experts by no means and honestly I think most Dromers are more adept at analyzing the show than they are. However, they have direct access to the staff to ask them plainly about stuff like this.

Sure it was funny, but it doesn't make sense for an iguana lady to appear and then suddenly she "never existed".

But it does if what they were aiming for was just a gag, and that's what it was. I admit, I thought it was a Mona reference, too, but it's not as confirmed by Brandon Auman, so there you go. Just a gag for laughs.

I'm still tossing in a few chips on a bet she shows up sooner or later, no matter who she is. That still looks potentially like a detailed character model rather than just an illustration... and if that's the case, why waste the time and money on a model for one quick image.

Nick can brush it aside all they want that it was only a quick gag - and sure, in this particular instance, in that episode, it is - and it's understandable to do so now or at any other time if they don't want to spoil future plans, but no, I ain't buying it until she really never does show up.

To only be lucky enough to be a member of that studio though... they must get some good laughs/amusement over some of the speculation, etc. lol

If anyone has seen previews for this Sunday's premiere of TMNT "Casey VS the Underworld" Shredder is apparently going to fight Casey in some sort of warehouse. The Hun preview NYCC-wise took place in a warehouse so is Shredder looking to hire the Purple Dragons, do the Purple Dragons need Shredder's help with something, or is Shredder trying to eradicate the Purple Dragons. Either way Casey is going to get decimated by Hun and/or Shredder.

It's definitely an illustration, trust me.

& as far as I can tell, the staff doesn't want Mona any more than I do, thank God.

Did they actually say that or are you just hoping they feel the same way?

Ok, well I'll have to be holding you to it then. lol

I know some of the software out there these days in the right hands can come off looking 3D enough to look like models, so I'm not against saying I was wrong if I am. But if it's not a model then someone is damn good at it and at getting the show's style exactly right and making it fit seamlessly with what appears to be a render of Kurtzman's place, so props to whoever.

But if it turns out to be a model, you owe me. (Not really. )

(And nothing to do with Mona Lisa because I was highly doubtful this was supposed to be her.)

I agree with Powder. It's just a little gag towards Jack. I don't think it's anything to get overly excited about. *crosses fingers* But I hope Mona Lisa makes her appearance one day.

I thought the 2nd ep of Battle For New York was incredibly dull compared to the first one. S3EP12 had me bouncing with laughter and excitement. Holy crap, Dr. Rockwell is ichiban monkey! His buggy eyes used to scare me in his earlier appearances but now it's hilarious. And he's all sophisticated. I LOVE sophisticated talking chimps <3 And Pigeon Man was great. I'm the only person that voted for his line in this thread! C'mon! That was SO funny!

If they were going to introduce Mona at some point... well, here's their "in." If the iguana-lady here and Kurtzman had a fling and produced a daughter, I'd say it's possible their offspring could be around the age range for the Turtles. I'd even say it's possible Kurtzman could be unaware that he has a daughter--but given his track record, I find it unlikely.

Anyway, it's a thread they could be leaving dangling in case they want to do something with it later. It's better than trying to retcon ML into the story.

Well, it was confirmed that the lizard lady was just a gag and nothing more, so I recant my earlier statement of it being a reference since it clearly wasn't.

Well, to all those saying KSP is Krang, I always felt Kraang Prime (or just Krang) is a bit closer to Ch'rell.

First time commenting on season three . This season has been hit and miss for me. From Slowly adjusting to Seth Green who I thought sounded like a surfer pot head Leo, the slow pace of the story arc and what seemed to be more filler episodes than previous seasons.... Season three has been my least favorite.

Solid season none the less but something just seemed off. Until Battle For NYC . What a fantastic episode! Restored my faith in the magic of this series . Great writing. Funny scenes and heart felt moments. By far , my favorite episode this season.

While the episode was amazing, the fact that they had literally nothing to do with Shredder or Karai in this episode makes me a little bit annoyed, as the last few episodes focused entirely on them. They could have atleast showed one small scene where Shredder declares the Krang's death. Still, was a great episode.

This episode was real cool! The way the turtles and the Mutanimals had to team up and Leo didn't like it at first reminded me of "X-MEN Evolution"! Like when the x-men and the brotherhood had to team up and Cyclops didn't like it either and he just walked away. But then in the end they got it together.

The episode felt a little lazy... The plot didn't seem to span 2 episodes, but rather just one plot per episode. Also, the fact that the Kraang were defeated so easily left me... disappointed. Along with any questions I had about the Kraang not getting answered. This felt like this was just made reintroduce the Mighty Mutanimals and give Slash a Heel-Face turn. I also hated how mean-spirited Rockwell was at Donatello without giving a legitimate reason why. That could explain why Falco turned on him so easily...He was tired of him being an arrogant jerk. Sorry, I just don't like people being mean-spirited unless they have a LEGITIMATE excuse.
