I loved this episode! I loved how Leo was wary of Slash and how Slash doubted himself after his team got captured just as Leo has doubted himself before. I also liked how at the end Slash said, "I just modeled myself after the greatest leader I knew. You." That was so sweet of him to say and I loved how they resolved their differences there. Also loved Leo geeking out over Space Heroes again. Seth did a great job on that line. Mikey making the retromutagen was a bit reckless, but it did work, so that's the main thing, right? I did feel the restoration was a bit rushed, but I still liked it. Loved seeing the Mutanimals and hope to see more of them.

That lizard lady was hilarious, and I also loved Kraang Sub-Prime. Too bad he's most likely dead. I'm glad Kirby's back, too, though his reunion with April didn't seem like much. I don't have my hopes up that he'll stay human though as his getting mutated is now a running gag and will more than likely happen again. If it doesn't, I'll be pretty surprised. Overall, a pretty decent episode.

Loved these quotes:

"We've been here for thousands of years, and you still can't speak English?"

"I'm surrounded by incompetence!"

"Stay frosty and keep quiet and all those other Leo-isms Leo likes to say."

"Just like Space Heroes!"

"Oh, Kraang!"

"Hey, you're not beaming up my particles!"

It was a great two part episodies. I liked the return of Kraang Subprime, he is a lot more competent in comparation to the other kraangs who aren't bright, they had no real individual personality, only serve as cannon fodder.

Unlike the other kraang, Kraang Subprime has his own individual personality, and he can handle the Turtles and the Mutanimals, Kraang Subprime acts like Krang's FW.

I like too see again Slash, Leatherhead, Pigeon Pete and Doctor Rockwell as the Mighty Mutanimals, and this time, doctor Rockwell is able to speak, because his has his intelligence back.

Is too bad the presence of many Irma bots, it means the real Irma doesn't exists in this show.

Mike and Don were great in this episode.

Slash reconciles with Leonardo in the end.

Is nice to see the woman reptile in the picture that Jack Kurtzman shows to the Turtles and the Mutanimal. It is a possible appearance of Mona Liza in future episodes.

Well they had to model the Irma design based on a real person, the Kraang are not that creative. Also the guy version of the kraang human looking robot suits remind me of Vernon.

This episode brought back some earlier characters, lots of good action. Mickey was once again a genius like his brother Donny. The show had a happy ending, also liked the turtle blimp.

I want that turtle blimp. Gilbert was funnier in this. I still wish playmates would have made a Kraang invasion type of theme with the toys; walkers, a better Kraang soldier figure, subprime, Irma bots, Flying Saucers, Kraang Prime with big robotic walker thing, Technodrome, bio droids (the butt cannon guys)

Cool

¡Hola! Me encantó este episodio. Está buenísimo/ Hi! I loved this episode. It's so good.
Lots of actions and I loved the return of the group now called the Mutanimals ( Slash, Leatherhead, Pigeon Pete and Dr. Rockwell) Mikey was a genius at Dimension X, but kind of arrogant. Remind me of 2k3 Mikey and his "Battle Nexus Champion" cry.
Every person goes back to normal and for April's happiness, her father, too, thanks to the retro mutagen Mikey created. Loved the Blimp. And Leo's reference to his favorite show Space Heroes.

The Kraang is defeated. And I hope the boys can de mutate Karai. Overall, excellent episode, a perfect 10.

Overall I was really happy with this two-part episode. The Mighty Mutanimals were great and I really enjoyed the line-up considering all of the "good guy" mutants we've seen so far. Slash as the leader was great and Leatherhead as second-in-command was perfect too. It just so happens that I just started to reread my Archie Comics from my childhood a couple of weeks ago so seeing the Mutanimals was a great surprise! I would love it if they added in the future: Mondo Gecko, Man Ray, and Wingnut & Screwloose.

Kraang Subprime was great, as well as funny, to see again! I enjoyed him a lot in this episode. The Turtle Blimp was great to finally see considering we've had it in Playmates form for quite awhile now.

I don't know of this has been mentioned by anyone else or not, but did the underused Dracodroid remind anyone else of Herman the Horrible? I think they were kind of loosely referencing him/them with the Dracodroid. This episode was a special two-parter like Planet of the Turtleoids was back in the original cartoon.

Again I really liked this episode and I can't wait to see more of The Mighty Mutanimals!

Dude, how can you even say that? Or is there some OTHER green, lizard-girl mutant in the TMNT that we don't already know about? Just like the girl in green on the side of the turtle van was clearly a reference to Venus (and her name was right there on the picture).

It's clearly a visual gag to suggest he got funky with a creature, that's it. Period. She's about as much Mona Lisa as Jack Kurtzman is your OC...

Pretty good episode. Seemed a little too easy of a victory though. Like Mike happens to invent super retro mutgen, all mutated New Yorkers are conveniently in one general area and they were able to rig the teleport to bring them back AND take back the Kraang.

Oh and apparently being hit by a laser beam only requires a first aid kit I guess. I genuinely found that funny. Is he?...No he's fine...April get some bandages.

Sorry, but I agree with Duckie on this one. Even if the lizard lady doesn't show up again, I do think it may be a nod to Mona Lisa just as Venus on the Party Wagon was a nod to Venus from Next Mutation.

MIGHTY MUTANIMALS!! TURTLE BLIMP!! SAVAGE MIKEY!!

Top tits stuff!

Don't have much more to say as most of y'all have already said it, but hot dog that was some good telly. There wasn't much about it I didn't like, and I'm excited to see where the show goes now that the Kraang our out of the picture for a bit.

People really thought that was a nod to Mona Lisa? Think it was more wishful thinking from the Mona fans.
