If Wolf isn't on the default game, he better be DLC. I can't believe that Sakurai would blatantly show so much favoritism towards KI and Fire Emblem and blatantly shun the Star Fox fans. Especially with a Wii U game coming out next year (that's been in development for 6 years).

And Alph should definitely have been a clone, I'm baffled that they'd bump Lucina and Dark Pit up to clones when both of their series already had way more attention in this game than it deserved, and again, shun a series that's had barely any love

Pikmin is an awesome franchise (despite having only 3 games, it's one of my favs)

It should have had a clone if any franchise has to have one.

That hasn't been in it or revealed yet, of course. You should have seen the uproar in 2008 when the Brawl roster was revealed and Ridley wasn't playable. The backlash was insane.

I can only imagine how bad it'll be now if it happens again.

The Fox alt doesn't mean anything regarding Wolf.

Mario still has a Wario alt and Wario is still in.
Kirby has a new Meta Knight alt, and Meta Knight is still in.

He was actually more requested than Falco. He has some unique moves and people want more villain characters in Smash too.

In terms of realistic videogame characters that would be in it, not outlandish anime/cartoon/third party characters that would never be included.

Characters such as Megaman and Little Mac were blatantly included in the game as a direct result of fan popularity/demand. Sure, sometimes Sakurai includes random characters nobody asked for (Wii Fit Trainer), but a lot of the time he goes with the most popular choices.

Which makes me hope Ridley and Dixie Kong are on the way. Hopefully Mewtwo returns too since Dr. Mario did.
