I think it comes down to air time. If they had maybe an extra 2 minutes, they could probably show the operation Donnie performed on Raph.

I liked it, I wouldn't call it my favorite episode of the series, but I'd say it was a fun way to start the season off. I like Seth Green as Leonardo. However, I do have a problem, where did Leo get his katanas? Seriously, this isn't even nitpicking, He lost both of when fighting off the Foot Bots, where the hell did he get them?

Cartoon magic. Same place I guess they got the chickens, cable, and the power turned on... all while being a bunch of kids who don't personally own the place and prob won't nor can't pay the bill. lol

They don't have cable. Mikey had the tapes I assumed.

Well then that's more cartoon magic, they didn't grab much from home when they left... lol We saw Mikey grab like...frozen pizza and Ice Cream Kitty.

Granted maybe there is a country store that sells old VHS tapes and chickens. There, plot hole partially fixed.

Like I said, it was a stupid ass plot line! They should have just had Raph captured, knocked out, tied up, and then Leo has to save him. They made it too weird and complicated for nothing.

I have to agree with Casey. April does seem a little more tense in this episode. I think one of the reasons she didn't slightly mention could be the fact that she was tricked by a Kraang robot a few months ago.

Well, at least that's one thing I can say. They save the best Turtle for the last of the un-masking

. I sure hope it's a damn good Raph episode when that happens!

Raph hasn't had a good ep in awhile. It's mostly Leo and Donnie who get the best episodes.

Eh, well, maybe they didn't show it, but maybe Raph or April grabbed an extra pair of Katanas, when they were back at the lair, or maybe Casey had some spare weapons at his place when he went to go check it out to see if his sister and father were there, and grabbed them and threw them in the van? As for the other stuff, I'm going to assume, when they stuck Leo in the tub, and Donnie left, well, in the comics, this is when Donnie started to go around the house and farm and fix it up, so maybe he did this off camera.

Definitely going to take me a while to get used to Leo's voice. Looks like we are going to see some interesting and deep character development as he heals.

Loving the change of scenery.

Really liked the homage to the 90's movie with April's narration,
Sketches, diary, and the flip of Raph "keeping a constant vigil over Leo" rather than the reverse from the movie.

You think any chance Raph will have some kind of mild residual effect after that? o.O I mean, if his mutagen was mixed with that monster and then removed from it...

I find it interesting though that they went with the mutagen being still in you concept like the new movie. I mean, normally they're just affected by it, not still carrying it? This series like the rest...I thought it had only just touched them.

The show usually doesn't bring up stuff like that. Remember when Mikey's shell got loose?

Awesome episode! I loved everything about it, and Seth Green is a good fit for Leo in my humble opinion.

True enough. Leo's shell is supposedly cracked too, though I didn't personally notice anything, at least not this time around.

Edit: Though I suppose it's 3 months later so that's reasonable enough time for it to have healed. (No mark from it though?)
