Lol gotcha, the box was filled with (12)canisters. Took all of them out and kept the 4 needed. Went back today since I was on break and they're all still there. Guess no parent wants to spend the $7.99+ tax for a canister.

Does anyone have a "Whoopee! Toys and games" store near them? If so, check this out:

This is a question for those of you who own the new Ooze Turtle figures... I have passed up the chance to own the set of 4 on multiple occasions now, I just can't convince myself to pick them up. I think they look cool and the idea is neat, but just cant get over the fact there is basically no articulation on the figure at all. If they even had articulation at the legs so they could at least sit down or use a vehicle I would jump on them and buy them... So other than being a completest are these guys worth picking up, does the Ooze gimmick actually work? Thanks for any input!

Hey! I faced the same dilemma but ultimately bought them. Why would I do this knowing the weaknesses of these figures, particularly the minimal articulation? Honestly it comes down to one simple thing for me: Ghostbusters. I love Ghostbusters and these are clearly an homage to them. The ooze feature sorta works but it does take some practice. Good news is they come with plastic "ooze balls" that you can use instead of slime if you want.

I highly recommend watching these two reviews. I can talk till I am blue in the face but I think you'll learn all you need to from the following:

I plan on buying the upcoming Stealth turtles as well. I'll be the first to admit that "gimmick" turtles are not my favorite, but as long as they are relatively cool and not weird/stupid (like in sports costumes or whatever) I'll consider them.

Haha, Pixel Dan could review a lump of dirt and I would want to buy it... I loved the Ghostbuster homage at the end! And I agree I will be picking up the stealth turtles for sure, they look pretty awesome.

It really doesn't go away after washing your hands a few times? What about with laundry detergant? I think it's kind of ridiculous that it gives you a bad taste in your mouth.

Dude it's HARDCORE. I've eaten so many foods, smoked a bunch of funky stuff, tried many kinds of alcohol, gotten all kinds of aerosol sprays in my mouth, you name it, but NOTHING has been worse than the Ooze in taste & staying power.

First of all, why in the world would someone put the ooze in their mouth? It looks like it would taste nasty anyway because it's not meant to be eaten.

Sorry. I could have sworn I heard something about a person on here actually tasting the ooze.

I know what you mean. Good thing that hasn't happened to me. I mean, to be honest, I like the ooze and the texture, I bought it because I like the canister (and to get a mini Leo).

Pros:
Mini Turtles
Cool Canister

Cons:
Ridiculous Price
Leaves residue on your hands that will make things taste horrible
Will eventually dry out and be thrown away
