This section is definitely the Drome's bad neighbourhood. VG Crew straight out da streets!

So, does anyone like scrolling stages at all? Seems like there are a bunch in the 3DS game, although the "omega" version of stages is a great way to get to play with those aesthetics and music without having to suffer. New Pork City is also an example of a sh*t stage I'd love to get an omega version of.

Hey guys, for funsies let's look at some old posts.

I can't believe someone actually suggested Wreck It Ralph.

Pretty spot on.

I will put what I want into a neat bullet format:
  • I want Ganondorf to not be a clone
  • Just Fox for Star Fox
  • Bayonetta (for the lolz)
  • Shulk from Xenoblade
  • Little Mac
  • Luigi to have the Poltergust
  • Costumes and skins instead of colors
4 out of 7 for me, not bad.

Again, spot on.

Well, not Captain N, but you got Duck Hunt with a zapper.

Those were just some of the first few pages. And of course CyberCubed started with the Ridley and Dixie Kong stuff really f*cking early, but I promised not to quote him.

(All?) the levels can be played in what's basically a Final Destination mode. The themes and music are still there, but the level's flat with no hazards. Probably all my friends and I are going to use.

But yeah, I hate scrolling levels, in general, but the Pokemon floats one was pretty cool.

Ahhhh. I can already hear Smashboards orgasming now.

I don't mind overall scrolling stages when I'm in "fun" mode. My favorite is actually Big Blue from Melee. Only when I play competitive is when I prefer a more sturdy environment. But I'll play anywhere mostly.

I honestly wonder why Sakurai never de-cloned Ganondorf after 3 games. He changed a lot of characters movesets this time around, yet Ganondorf is left exactly the same?

Well, this is slightly worrying. I mean, it's possible it could just be kids that can't handle their handhelds well, but what if it isn't?

Probably just the result of unnecessarily slamming the slide pad too much while playing. It's likely the fault of the handlers.

The only scrolling stage I've never enjoyed was Rumble Falls in Brawl. It moved too fast to actually fight. You were basically racing to see who would slip up first and self destruct. The worst part is that it was the only Donkey Kong stage and it was the only staged that played Gangplank Galleon.

I did like Mushroomy Kingdom more than I thought I would. Especially the underground version when it made it impossible to get a ko sometimes.

I usually don't have any issues with any scrolling stages, but most people I play with prefer stationary stages.

The only scrolling stage I could ever tolerate was the Ice Climbers one from Melee. I absolutely loathe the others. I usually prefer simpler stages so I don't have to worry about the ****ing map killing me while I'm trying to recover from an attack.

I've been playing the demo a lot since Friday and haven't had any issues with my 3DS. Those people breaking their pads are playing it like it's Melee or Brawl. Anyone I've ever seen play SSB always smashes the control stick as hard as they can when they do a smash attack. That's what is breaking consoles.

I'm sure if it becomes a big enough problem Nintendo will start to repair broken pads free.

Is there a list anywhere of all the Assist Trophies and Pokeball Pokemon in this game?

I heard Isaac removed as an Assist Trophy, which I find odd.

He's probably a console exclusive assist. They said there would be differences between the two.

Thinking of DLC, and I am not trolling but I really think this guy would be amazing. His move set is already written. He is modern fresh and lovable.

Kirby's Epic yarn was a kids game, but me and my bro really enjoyed it.

I'll definitely get a couple. Sounds like a lot of fun, since you can train them and include them in battles. My friends and I already have plans.

Sucks that I don't really care for characters in the first set, but I'll probably get Donkey Kong and the Villager...
