That sounds right.

Donatello fancies her so much. Kinda feel bad for him - he can never have a romantic or sexual relationship with a female simply because of his species. But the problem there is that he's a HUMANOID turtle, and the human part of him desires female contact.

I do find it strange that Raph and Mikey haven't really developed any sexual urges in the show. Leo had something with Karai but it's mostly been Donnie.

Its a cartoon and one that loves the underdog. Since Donnie first stated he had a thing for her everyone has told him that he doesn't have a shot with her. Of course they're gonna hook up.

She can choose Donnie in an emotional sense, but they can't solidify their relationship sexually as she could with Casey. Not that that matters too much in a kids' show, but then sex does have to be an implied part of things (see Donnie hinting to Mikey what teenage humans do when they disappear into the woods).

April can really only get with Donnie if she is asexual. Either that or he lets her fool around with human boys. But that doesn't seem possibly given his rivalry with Casey.

No, but who says sex has to be part of a relationship per se? You don't necessarily have to have sex with someone to feel complete all of the time. Sure, it's a big part of love, but it's not the only thing that defines a relationship. Plus, who's to say they can't have sex anyway? There's nothing to confirm they can't. And that bit about going alone in the woods was about kissing since Mikey's flashlight focused on two squirrels who were about to kiss.

Well played - I didn't pick that up.

Maybe they could have sex, it just seems a little...out there.

I fully agree that sex is far from the be all and end all of a relationship - in fact it's not even the most important part, at all. However, you'd imagine that April would want to enjoy herself with a man at some stage in her life, surely. And if Donnie can't...you know...then what will she do? Donnie doesn't seem the type to let her sleep with a boy.

... This is true.... But... Why???.... I really think this going too far because the first thing that comes up is sex... and then you have people making fan fics about it and all.... It's just really disturbing...
