Hopefully 125 minutes is an estimate.
What do you mean, "that'd carry on to any other DVD releases Nick makes?"

He means that they will continue releasing DVDs with only a few episodes on them.

Sometimes I wonder. With DVD's being released like this and toy companies avoiding certain paint jobs, is the economy really this bad?

It means that if they cut episodes this time, they'll continue to do so for all of their other TMNT releases.

No. It's just companies being lazy. I am always shocked at how low my expectations have to be set for a decent box set from large companies.

Why do they do this? Why does no one fire these people? Laziness does not get us anywhere in business. Why?

Warner Bros.' laziness and general disregard for fans is beyond unacceptable, but they make so much money every day.

Some people will buy anything if it has a TMNT logo stamped on it, or a Star Wars logo or a Harry Potter logo. Besides, kids and casual viewers don't care if there's a better collection on the way. If it's there, they'll buy it. Only big fans of a property will hold off a few years for a better, bigger, collection.

And the majority of TMNT viewers are kids and casual viewers, with a minority of big fans. So there's where all your DVD purchases are coming from.

1080p. So your TV will not show the highest quality possible.

When I downloaded the HD version of "The Gauntlet" from itunes I noticed a few seconds were cut. It occurred when pigeon Pete was stalking April while she was in the alley with the TMNT. This was her 2nd encounter. He was supposed to pop up on a rooftop in the background and fly down towards her and get shocked by Donnie. Instead, it just cuts to her screaming and Pete gets shocked. Why they can't release an unedited version is beyond me. There's no excuse for edited crap especially when they didn't have a problem airing an unedited version on TV.

Well that's a bummer. That was literally the only cool thing Pigeon Pete did.

So a DVD release in 2013 is going to be only 6 episodes and edited at that? Good god.

There is no excuse for this garbage. Are the incompetents in charge of this DVd release talentless hacks from 2001? What on earth?

Because they're told to edit the DVDs by management. It's done for kids so they think they won't notice.

Honestly, these are the moments where I just don't get business decisions. I still want to get it. Maybe if I keep track of anyone who will buy the DVD, I'll find out if it's really worth it. This DVD tempts me, but I don't want all of it to be cut.
