Nice story but I feel that the dialogue and some touching moments are moving too fast... I mean very FAST. Would be nice if they pause a second or too to soak in the feeling a bit.

Guess that's the limit of tv show. I still enjoy it though.

Does anyone know why Slash actually care for the people? Seems kinda odd considering he's willing to obliterate anyone or anything just to be Raph's partner, got defeated, held as Kraang's hostage, freed by Newtralizer then suddenly have an affinity for the human beings? Actually caring for them?

I mean WHAT? Seems out of character with that sudden change.

Raph cares about his brothers too but Slash didn't seem to mind, seemed hell bent on beating them to a pulp, possibly even killing them.

I just find it odd that he would care for the people, considering he never actually encoutered anyone before in his life. Maybe April but we never see them interact anyway.

in "Slash and Destroy" he wants him and Raph to be a crime-fighting duo, "fighting evil together". So I think it's fair to say, that he has some understanding of what is good and evil - and that ordinary people shouldn't be harmed. But because of all of Raphs b*tching about his brothers, he thinks that they stand in the way of Raphs greatness, and that Slash and Raph would be a better team than The Turtles could ever be, and therefore they should be eliminated. That thought is indeed very twisted and evil, but I think there's a difference between that and his "care" for innocent people

edit: You can argue that Raph himself has difficulties in drawing the line. In that ep in season one where the Purple Dragons beat up Murakami, Raph wants to kick the living sh*t out of them, even though it's clear that they are no treat to the Turtles (and actually are afraid) - and he gets mad at Leo for stopping the fight

I think sometimes we focus so much on each of their "strengths" that we forget about their "weaknesses". I think Raph's is his lack of "mercy" and Leo's is his "bossiness" and Donnie's is his "overthinking" and Mikey's is his "goofiness" that gets him in to trouble. All really great heroes need to have some flaws because it makes them relatable to the people who love them. Stan Lee said that is why he thinks people love his characters so much because when you get down to it they are still very "human". A person made fun of me once for saying that I could relate to the Turtles and they thought that was completely stupid to even say. I would guess that MOST of us here CAN relate to them and ESPECIALLY to our individual FAVORITE Turtle.

That's an interesting way to look at it. But like I said, Slash never encountered or interacted with any humans before, he doesn't completely understand or relate to them. So it's kinda jarring for Slash to hold on that belief simply because Raph believes in it.

Yeah I love their flaws. I guess April's flaw is her bitchiness lol.

You can say it's a flaw, but it's understandable she's like that.

I really liked this episode. I had no idea that Newtralizer was voiced by Machete. Very cool. I laughed a lot during this episode. The bit with Donny getting punched was hilarious. That needs to be a GIF.

I just got myself caught up. I finally realized what the Newtralizer reminds me of. Toothless from how to train your dragon with his body structure. Overall though I liked the episode. I loved the skate shop

Funny I thought Toothless reminds me of Stitch from "Lilo and Stitch" movie. And Stitch reminds me of a koala bear.

I get what you mean, but I buy it I find it harder to understand that he has already forgiven Leo, Mikey and Don...for now at least

What's funny is I think he is meant to be a cross between a bat and a dog. LOL.

That got my attention too. You know X is the roman numeral for 10, could Dimension X be the tenth dimension in a combined system of dimensions?

I like that explanation as it makes the most sense. It could be that Dimension X and the other 9 inter-thread throughout the other 'realities' we saw in the alien 'hallway,' thus explaining why there are so many doors, but only 10 Dimensions.

I watched the episode again and noticed something else. When Raph and Slash lock weapons near the beginning of the episode, it seemed very slow and lacked any real power. Did anyone else noticed that? It just seemed out of place, especially considering how strong they both are. Is it because it is a filler episode or what?

Not sure if this was mentioned but did anyone catch Mikey and Donnie's bandannas on Slashes arm when he tells Newt that it's too risky to blow up the building because there are people. I downloaded the episode from itunes and was watching it today and caught that.

I think the OP is saying that they just popped up just during that scene and then disappeared again.
