The Discs with figures Thread

I've been trying to find a thread here regarding the 25th Anniversary figures so I could talk about a few bits. Particularly to confirm to others on the European side of the globe that the accompanying old toon DVDs work on Region 2 players.

I'm liking the bonus disc idea of Playmates attaching a DVD incentive with thier TMNT figures, whether it is an episode or a video game. The package deal is practically two products that sell each other.

So with this thread, it is figure related but also DVD related too. Here presents a platform to talk about favourite Figure/DVD pairings and particulars on the discs on offer. Might come across silly to some, but I think Playmates giving discs with figures is still one of the things they still do right, and even if it is a medium you've experienced 100 times over its still something to pass on to potential fans/converts/buyers.

BTW. Was the disc attached to the Exoskeleton Mini Mutants the actual Ubisoft TMNT Movie game or other?

Yea, well I guess they just figure that no ones gonna buy it anymore, and since a disk only costs about 33 cents to produce, its the perfect bundle.

I just tried the disc that came with my Exoskeleton Shredder. It is indeed the full version -- I even loaded up my previous saved game and played through the final level again.

That game sure had some generous scoring, btw! I played bloody awfully and still got an A+. That's the value of teamwork, yessir.

Good News: It's nice to see a full game (and not some thrown together peice of junk) coming with a $8-$10 figure. Makes them more valuable.

Bad News: It ticks off those of us who paid $40-$50 for the game!
